Gov Fintiri Lunches Empowerment Programme For
100, 000 Beneficiaries
The Adamawa state government is projecting additional 20% reduction in the poverty rate, following the injection of Seven Billion naira into the Fintiri Business Wallet initiative in 2025.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri disclosed this while flagging off the 2025 third quarter disbursement of 50,000 naira to 100,000 beneficiaries under Fintiri business Wallet
It was the official launch of the 2025 last quarter disbursement of N50,000 Fintiri business wallet to 100,000 small scale business owners, held at the banquet hall, government house Yola.
The empowerment initiative by governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri administration is to stimulate business growth and expand economic opportunities among citizens across Adamawa.
Represented by the his Deputy Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, the governor noted that the Fintiri Wallet is part of activities mapped out to impact the lives of the citizens, and it will never compromise that.
This according to him, is to ensure the economy of the state continue to thrive, and the living standard of the populace improved.
Governor Fintiri said that 240,000 small scale businesses have been empowered through the Fintiri business Wallet in the last two years.
He explained that previous intervention has contributed to 14% poverty reduction in Adamawa from 74% to 60%.
The Commissioner for Entrepreneurship Development Hammajumba Gatugel said the N50,000 transfer to 100,000 beneficiaries, marks another milestone in the economic history of the state.
He lauded the leadership disposition of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri which has continued to turn around the economy and other sectors of human endeavour.
