BEATING THE AIR;THE BATTLE AGAINST ILLUSION

Power unleashed in haste exposes the fear it seeks to bury,
A trembling heart disguised beneath the thunder of aggression,
Where shadows are mistaken for soldiers, and whispers for war cries,
Unearthing how insecurity can echo louder than reason.

He who charges too wildly at ghosts betrays his own unrest,
For the confident do not waste their fire on imagined foes;
It is the anxious soul that floods the field with force,
Hoping noise will silence the doubts rising from within.

Strength walks in quiet steps, unshaken and unprovoked,
Choosing wisdom over intimidation and restraint over rage;
It knows that true victory is not in overpowering others,
But in subduing the storms that seek to rule the mind.

Yet weakness cloaks itself in bravado, desperate to be believed,
Sending armies to fight battles that exist only in its fears,
Mistaking destruction for dominance, and chaos for control,
Blind to the fact that overreaction is its loudest confession.

So let wisdom be the shield and discernment the sword,
For the battle against illusion requires no cannons,
Only the courage to see clearly and act with measured power
A reminder that strength is proven not by force, but by mastery.
