No 3. The night season

The night season comes with regrets.
Think of a man that choose to play with his early days,he will surely regret.
There are some of us that are regretting so bad today cos of our waisted years,the things we take for granted deal with us gradually as time goes on,,,,,, sometimes I tell myself how will my future look like when am 60? Hwfa? How will it look like? Cos I want to be on the side were I will be relaxing.
You see some today that has looked like something is wrong with them, most time go close to them they will tell you they didn't plan very well. Na God get power sha,but we have a responsibility as well,
May the lord help us that we don't end in regrets as we approach our night season.

*2. The night season*

A fact about the night season is that it can come with relaxation. You see when a man tend to his good days very well like his morning and afternoon season most times he relaxes knowing his time for him to rest and enjoy what he has built
You see the night season always walks with time.
And what is time?
Time is like water poured on the ground that cannot be gathered back.
Time is like a vapour when out cannot the taken back.
Time is what decides the activity of life.
Time is what separates one man from another.
Time is shared into three,
Yesterday, today, tomorrow.
That is: Past, present, and future
Look at a man who has dealt with his morning and afternoon phase very well he will be relaxing when he is sixty.
It encourages retirement, and that's were a man take up his wine cup and enjoy himself cos he did well in the earlier days of his life.
Remember,,,, it takes the reflection of the past the proactive of today to take you to the future.
It comes with relaxation.

I read about a man a man that started at 66,
His name is colonel Sanders of blessed memory, the founder of KFC.
His parents died when he was little,he married the wife left him cos he is not growing,he went to the bus's stop too, no growth, then he joined the military and after retirement nothing still come out, so he thought he had failed cos the monthly stipends from the government is too small,so he thought about killing himself cos he is a failure.
On getting to were he wants to commit suicide,he had a thought that what if he start all over again? What if he can push again,,,,so he asked himself if i need to start again,,,this time what CAN I DO?
Then he remembered that he knows how to fry chicken the world is yet to taste,the same chicken but his frying tastes different, so he came back home borrowed the necessary tools from his neighbors and used the monthly stipends to buy chicken and the recipe, then he started selling to his neighbors.
Not long he became famous around,not hungry any more,,,he decided to sell it to restaurants,and after a long search one restaurant choose to sell his fried chicken for him,,, from that day,, Kentucky fried chicken was born,,, and at 88 he became billionaire in dollars.
You see it is not too late to plan your retirement.
Even at the night season you can make something sweet out of your life,,,,my father is Dr Tony Odogu is 66 still building houses for rent,,,still building young minds that can stand for tomorrow etc what an investment.
Godwin is saying look inside you and get up and plan for your retirement, remember tomorrow is ours to either win or loose.
Your destiny is in your hands,no witch can stop you, take your destiny and move again,,,, life is a short journey.

3. The Night Phase

This a period in a mans life were most times a man pushes close to retirement and we stay as a retiree.
Most times it ranges from the age of 50 to 75 years,,,
This is an important phase in the journey to life.
I watched a movie ,,, breakthrough,,,
A lady said,,,,, yesterday is not ours to recover but tomorrow is ours to either win or loose,,,,,,,
My father. Dr. Tony Amaebi Odogu said and i quote,,, "It takes the reflection of the past,which is yesterday and the proactive of today to take you to your future"
When I heard this two statements then I realized that i need to intentionally build my future as what i have been doing yesterday is what brought me to this point therefore if i want my future to look better i need to build it intentionally.
Key points about this phase.
1. it is never too late to plan your retirement.
If youre in this phase i want you to know that it is not too late to plan your retirement, i told us that not only civil servants retires,but we all,,, in any choosing career you retire, be it business,ministry, sports and so on we all retire,,,and it is essential we prepare to retire well so when the time comes were your body can not carry you again,you see it as part of the journey and enjoy it.
Let me digress a little,before i come back to this,,,do you notice that we dont see many law student or medicine and surgery from our society this days,the ones we have mostly are graduates already and the few we have are intentionally trained.
We have missed the part were we do things positively on purpose,only the negative aspect,,,,, listen if you have children and you want them to be outstanding, intentionally train them,thats how you see them making a difference, not saying if na groundnut them give you sef go and study.
Work on them intentionally.
It is never too late to plan your retirement.

,,,second period,,the parent will be in charge of his or her life. The child is in charge of his life also,,,, that is like your age now,,,you go wherever you feel like to go,you wear what you feel like to wear without answering to anyone.
Thirdly,,,,the child is in charge of his life and that of his parents life,,,,,,just immerging when mama is moving with working stick, na children they take care of them.
This is one reason why you need to work, cos if you live your life at the mercies of your children and na those children wey no well,,,, oyo is your case.
Proverbs 13:22. A Wise man keepeth inheritance for his childrens children
Let me show you another one:
‭Proverbs 21:20 KJV‬
[20] There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; But a foolish man spendeth it up.

It is saying the wise man saves for the future but the foolish man spends it all.
Some one in this afternoon phase should even be more careful,,,cos you have time to prepare and plan your retirement.
It is not just civil servants that retires o,even a farmer retires,even business men retires, ministers etc everyone retires, this is the phase we plan for our retirement cos life is a very short journey.
For instance you build a child to take over your business when you're old and he gives you your percentage,how will you rely on him to even feed.
The noon season is for working,put things in place so that it will help you as life goes on,so that you will not beg to feed your children,so that your call will not scare people away.
Wake up from that your sleep the journey to life is very short,it may not be a very straight path but get up and work.

You've been talking for a long time,the best time to start is now.

*2. The Afternoon Phase*

This is the second phase in life,and is very important in the journey of life,this is a stage were you put what you've learned in the morning season to work
You've learned to the level of a graduate or more, you've learned a skill etc,,its time to put that your skill to action,,, you've been longing to be standing out in your society abi,now is the time to stand up and work with your skill
There is this two scriptures i love about the bible
‭Proverbs 6:9-11 KJV‬
[9] How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? [10] Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep: [11] So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, And thy want as an armed man.

When I got to know this scriptures i realize life is fair when you know the right keys to it.
You see little children acting like they need money more than everyone,omor now is the time go and work with your skill,put what you've learned to work,lazy fool look what proverbs is saying,youre in your after noon phase go and work,if you sleep by this time poverty go finish you.
In as much as there is no time too late to start, now is the best time as youre above 25years. Youre not a child any more people will start expecting so much from you,,,,, get up and work
A mans life journey is like that of a child and his parents,
At the beginning the parent is in charge of his or her life and that of the childs life,in this you will find out that the parents will decide what the baby will wear what he will eat and the rest.

*Life's Journey*

As a person we need to understand that life is a journey therefore you're in a journey.
Most times people try to use the elevator to move very fast there by jumping some important places.
I think is good to move faster, i mean when i have airplane I don't have to take a car to cut across countries,but you see in the case of life it is important we follow the steps, precept build upon precept.
As short as it is there is no need to hurry.
Rush can actually make you move out of the steps and that may have damages to your lif
Phases of life
Via my little readings, researches and learning's in life i found out that it is shared into three phases.

1.the morning phase
This is a period in the life of a man when he is like the day he is born to like 25 years old, this is a period of learning basically,most children this days like to skip this part most especially when they are exposed to the internet.
You hear things like, "school na scam" from the mouth if children and teenagers.
They feel i can be rich with other means why go through all this stress? A young was telling his friends infront of me,,,the money wey they my account my father and my mother never see am before,,,you can see what is driving them.
Children of 16 years that are opening their parents pots saying. don too suffer for this life so they want to use the elevator to skip the morning phase.
If you find yourself in this period,try and learn from anything you can, schooling,learning a skill,having good mentors etc. You just have to learn.
In my earlier years of God telling me to preach his words. I was just sitting down and suddenly my eyes were closed then i saw myself going to teach in a school. When I got there I saw a swing that can take me there very fast,so i tried using it but it wasn't working. After a while a young man came to me and said if you're going to this school follow the ladder otherwise they will not answer you. So I followed the steps and I was attended to.

When my eyes open God told me do not follow short cuts.
Every step is important in the journey of life, trying to skip this first phase can limit you in life,,,,,while growing up I overheard people older than me discussing,one said i didn't go to school because i like money from small, I asked myself how? I kept listening, he said while others are going to school i will take my fishing net to the river to go and kill any fish available to come and sell so that i will have some money as i cant stay without money,,,,behold after many years he is still struggling with the killing of fish to survive and he doesn't even know how to grow it,,, thus is simply cos he skipped the morning phase.

In that picture i tried to recognize myself i could not,but i remember the game very well and asked questions that's when my friend who is also in the picture pointed it to me,then when i looked closely it looks like my son david,,, and I smiled.
The football game is just like yesterday, indeed man is of few days.
Let me ask you a question in the next 20 years how do you think you will look like?
Am sure you don't like you're now 20 years ago,,,, and it feel like yesterday.
Life is shorter than you think, and that is when you live for 120 years,,
In church i was teaching and i told the young people that this old women with wrinkled faces today were ones so beautiful that some men even fight for,so beautiful that when you see them that time will wait for them but look at them now.
Do not think you will look this good forever.
I remember my father dr Tony Odogu told me when I wanted to get married, this your wife breast wey stand like this now, e no go dey like this forever o, when two to three children suck am e go humble, therefore make up your mind that is a sign of growth and that is reality and that helped me a lot.
We need to get this fact that life is a very short journey.
Daddy said youre as a result of decisions you make and action you take and and foundation you lay in time past.
Lets take a reflection on ourselves as life is a very short journey.

*Life's Journey*

Journey could mean a lot,it could a road trip, life's trip.
A reading plan etc
In this case I mean life's trip.
From the day you were born to the day you die,,
Lets look at what the bible is saying concerning this
Job 14:1 KJV‬
[1] Man that is born of a woman Is of few days, and full of trouble.

Job.14.1 You can immerging what job is saying,that the journey to life is very short and is full of troubles
Sometimes i ask myself many questions,how did i get here? How did i become this ugly? Cos i was looking so wonderful some years ago.
Just like the throwback photo i dropped earlier.
You can see how small I was some years ago, most of us here we don't want to drop our then pictures cos may be we think solely about what people will say when we see the your then self,but no worries this is life.
You see I love this song they sing in kindergartens. "When see an old woman never never laugh at her she was once a kid just like you,before she became old, old woman walk like this" Then they demonstrate how old women walk.
Some persons feel,life is just. School and then work and then retire,,,
But you see it has turns as well,
That cute wonderful face of 22. Can not recognize 50 years old.

(7) Develop skills.
Psalms 78:72; Daniel 1:4.
We are now living in a world that certificates are no longer what one will rely on to live a solid life.

Try to learn skills anyhow. Even at old age, your skills will earn you a living. When your certificate fails,your skills will earn you a good living.
