Today’s service was a powerful reminder of the Power to Recover, from 1 Samuel 30:8. We learned that we must draw courage from the Lord no matter what we are facing, because David did not end in loss; he ended in recovery.

We must not allow frustration to take control, because the devil succeeds when frustration causes us to lose focus and hope. Giving to God’s Kingdom empowers recovery and demonstrates our trust in Him. We must also pray before we pursue, seek God’s direction, and when He says to move, we must move with faith. Whatever we may have lost, we believe God has the power to restore and bring us into recovery.
