Our Father Nicholas Gboage Teaching on "MY NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CREATOR"
Bible Text: Romans 8:15
The message “My New Relationship with My Creator” reveals the transformative power of establishing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It explains that while all human beings are created by God, not everyone has entered into a true relationship with Him. This relationship is not obtained by human effort, religious observances, or self-righteousness, but through faith in Jesus Christ as revealed in John 1:12, Romans 10:3, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 3:20, and Galatians 2:16. Through this divine relationship, a person moves from being merely God’s creation to becoming His adopted child, receiving the spirit of sonship rather than the spirit of bo***ge and fear as declared in Romans 8:15.
The sermon emphasizes that this relationship delivers believers from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. The kingdom of darkness is marked by fear, anxiety, oppression, sickness, depression, and spiritual bo***ge. Fear is presented as a terrible force that enslaves those who have not encountered Christ. However, through Jesus Christ, believers are liberated from this bo***ge and receive divine freedom, peace, and confidence. This freedom is made possible because Christ destroyed the power of death and fear through His sacrifice as affirmed in Hebrews 2:14–15. His suffering and sacrifice also secured healing and restoration for humanity according to Isaiah 53:5.
A major focus of the message is the understanding of the Word of God as Evangelist Gboage clarifies that the Word of God is not merely the physical Bible, but Jesus Christ Himself, as revealed in John 1:12. The Bible is the written revelation that introduces believers to the living Word. Therefore, true power does not come from carrying the Bible as an object or treating it as a charm, but from receiving Christ into one’s heart through meditation, study, and faith. As believers allow the Word to dwell richly in them, they become spiritually equipped for every good work as stated in 2 Timothy 3:17, and their lives begin to bear fruit to the glory of God according to John 15:8.
The Man of God further teaches that salvation is not a one-time confession without transformation, but a continuous walk of spiritual growth and obedience. Believers are called to work out their salvation with reverence, knowing that God Himself works within them to accomplish His purpose as taught in Philippians 2:12–13. This ongoing relationship with Christ produces a life of faith and complete surrender, where the believer no longer lives for self but for Christ, just as declared in Galatians 2:20.
Another important truth highlighted by Evangelist Gboage is victory over suffering and death. He explains that though Satan may afflict the physical body, his power is limited as seen in Job 2:6. Christ has already secured ultimate victory through His resurrection. Death has lost its sting and power over those who are in Christ, fulfilling the promise of 1 Corinthians 15:54. By entering through Christ, who is the door of salvation according to John 10:9, believers step into eternal life that cannot be destroyed.
Evangelist Gboage's Teaching also points to examples of faith and righteousness from scripture, such as Noah, who by faith entered into covenant relationship with God and was preserved from destruction as seen in Hebrews 11:7 and 2 Peter 2:5. His life demonstrates that relationship with God secures divine preservation even in times of judgment and uncertainty.
In conclusion, “My New Relationship with My Creator” is a call for every believer to move beyond merely knowing about God to personally knowing Him through Jesus Christ. This relationship brings adoption into God’s family, freedom from fear, victory over sickness and oppression, spiritual empowerment, and eternal life. Through Christ, believers are no longer slaves to darkness but sons and daughters of God, walking in liberty, authority, and the unshakable assurance of resurrection life.

Acknowledge and yield allegiance to Jesus's claim as the Word of God to receive the right to become a child of God.
