ACTING DIRECTOR CHAPLAIN SERVICES (PROTESTANT) FECILITATES WITH CHRISTIAN FAITHFULS, PRAYS FOR A VICTORIOUS NEW YEAR AHEAD

The Acting Director, Chaplain Services (Protestant), Colonel (Reverend) BP Nyam, has felicitated with Christian faithfuls of the Nigerian Army and prayed for a victorious and prosperous New Year. He gave the felicitation on 25 December 2025 Christmas Day Service at St Michael’s Military Church (Protestant), TA Lagbaja Cantonment, Lagos.

Delivering his goodwill message, Colonel Nyam described Christmas as a season of hope, love, sacrifice, and renewal, emphasizing that the birth of Jesus Christ (the Prince of Peace) reminds soldiers and citizens that God is ever-present, even in challenging times of national transition.

The Acting Director also commended officers and soldiers across all formations and theatres of operation for their professionalism, courage, and selfless service, particularly those deployed away from their families while safeguarding national security. He assured them that their sacrifices are deeply appreciated and continually upheld in prayers.

Colonel Nyam further acknowledged the resilience, patience, and steadfast support of military families, noting that spouses and children play a vital role in maintaining troop morale and operational effectiveness. He urged personnel to allow the message of Emmanuel (God with us) to guide their conduct, promoting integrity, discipline, compassion, and unity in both military duties and civil life.

Colonel (Reverend) BP Nyam, on behalf of Chaplaincy Protestant, wished all personnel a blessed Christmas and a victorious, peaceful, and prosperous New Year, and prayed for God’s continued guidance over the Chaplaincy Family, the Nigerian Army, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
