THE 3 GREATEST THINGS ALL MUSICIANS NEED.
Music is divided into three aspects. (Cozy's Theory)
1 The Mechanical part
2 The Intellectual part
3 The Stage part
The greatest Musicians of all times are those with the three.
Those who will still be relevantly doing music in 50 years time would need these three.
(1) Mechanical part of music.
This is the part that has to do with the dexterity of the musician.
*How fast your fingers are on the Piano
*The strong grip of your fingers on the Piano
*How Sweet, Loud and resonating your voice is when you sing.
*How clean and good your tone is on the Saxophone.
*How fast and firm your strokes are on the Drum
*How Firm and balanced your tone is on the Bass, your grip and speed.
No (2) Intellectual aspect of music is the amount of theory you know and have converted to practical.
How much do you know about your instrument?
This aspect has to do with acquiring knowledge beyond a good voice, beyond a fast finger.
How much theory about chords, scales ,singing techniques, drum stocks you know and how you use them in every day music.
Most singers are lacking in this aspect, the only scale you hear most singers use is the pentatonic scale, most don't know about the existence of modes.
I tell my Vocal students that when I'm through with you, "you will be a walking Piano.
You will have Piano in your head.
3) The stage.
I have found musicians who can has good dexterity or musically intelligent but has poor stage performance.
This aspect has to do with the ability to stand on a stage and set the audience on fire.

Musicians who will be relevant and making impacts in the next 50 years are those who have these three qualities.
Some musicians settle for 1, or 3 or 2 But
I urge all musicians to settle for the three.
