A father is more than a name.
More than a title.
More than a chair at the head of the table.
A father is a rhythm.
The steady beat of sacrifice.
The quiet melody of provision.
The unseen harmony of prayer in the midnight hour.
For the Scripture says:
"As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him." — Psalm 103:13
A father carries burdens he never announces.
Fights battles he never advertises.
And sheds tears he never allows the world to see.
He stands in the gap.
He guards the gate.
He keeps watch while others sleep.
Like Job, who rose early to pray for his children.
Like Abraham, who taught his household to walk in the ways of God.
Like Joseph, who protected what Heaven entrusted into his hands.
A father is not perfect, but he is present.
Not flawless, but faithful.
Not always understood, but often carrying more than anyone knows.
Today, we honor the men who stayed.
The men who prayed.
The men who worked.
The men who gave.
The fathers who led by example.
The fathers who loved through sacrifice.
The fathers who taught us that true strength is found not in power, but in responsibility.
"The righteous man walks in his integrity; blessed are his children after him." — Proverbs 20:7
And so, on this special day, here's wishing a Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, fathers-to-be, mentors, and father figures in Ogunu Chapel.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for your sacrifices.
Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for being pillars of faith, strength, and love in our families, our church, and our community.
May your hands never grow weary.
May your faith never grow dim.
May your homes be filled with peace.
May your children rise and call you blessed.
And may the Heavenly Father reward every labor of love done in His name.
Happy Father's Day to all the men of Ogunu Chapel.
Keep the rhythm.
Keep the faith.
Keep shining for God's glory. ❤️👔📖🙏🏾
