REPENTANCE, DELIVERANCE, AND RESTORATION:
PROPHET DESTINY from Bomadi, Delta State testify of God’s mercy, healing, repentance, and restoration upon his life.
He shared that even a deliverer can also need deliverance. He testified that he was already known by many people as a prophet. According to him, Christianity is neither democracy nor autocracy, but a spiritual walk meant for those who truly understand the Spirit of God.
He explained that he once came to Warri for a church program. While preparing to attend the service he originally planned for, he heard a voice instructing him not to go there, but instead to go to Udu Road to meet the servant of God who had called him.
He obeyed and came to the Temple. There, Prophet Amos revealed to him that spiritual forces were fighting against his life and marriage, which was why his marital life was unsettled. Prayers were offered for him, and by the grace of God, on the 25th of February he reconciled with his wife.
He also listened to the teaching concerning baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and afterward both he and his wife were baptized together.
According to his testimony, he later began preaching what he described as the genuine message. However, as he continued preaching, many people started leaving his church. Fear entered his heart, and he became afraid that if he continued standing on the message, hunger and hardship would overtake him.
Because of this fear, he compromised. He began praying for Yahoo boys and collecting money from them, even though he knew it was wrong. He admitted that he sold anointing oil, water, and stickers. He would sometimes claim, “God said,” even when God had not spoken.
He testified that although people often fell under power during his ministrations, it was not the Holy Spirit at work, but merely a gift operating through him. Even while enjoying money and influence, his conscience continually troubled him.
Around the middle of April, he suddenly became seriously ill. He was taken to the hospital, but despite treatment, he still felt close to death.
One Sunday morning, he said he saw what appeared to be a vehicle of death coming for him. Immediately, his wife turned on Temple TV, and he placed his hand on the television and prayed along. According to him, the vehicle of death disappeared instantly.
Although pastors in his church prayed for him, nothing changed. His wife insisted that only Prophet Amos could help him.
While on their way to the Temple, he said the spirit of death appeared again. But this time, he saw the spirit of Prophet Amos confronting it, declaring:
“You cannot take the soul of this man.”
Immediately, the spirit of death disappeared, and he arrived safely at the Temple.
He testified that Prophet Amos prayed for him, gave him oil to drink, placed some on his head, and also gave him a handkerchief and oil. After this encounter, he publicly renounced his former ways. He threw away some of his old clothes and openly announced that Yahoo boys should no longer bring money into the church or send money to his personal account.
Today, he says he is now preaching the genuine message faithfully and has returned to give all the glory to God for saving and restoring him.
He encourages believers not to claim to serve God while living contrary to His will.
He also stated that many who call themselves overseers are not the true Overseer, because Jesus Christ alone is the Great Overseer of the Church.
He urges everyone to run sincerely to Jesus Christ in repentance and truth so that they may be saved.
To God alone be all the glory.
