Sunday Service was powerful!

It was our Welfare Sunday, and we received a strong charge on MAKING GREAT IMPACT WITH THE GOSPEL.

Pastor reminded us that the only way a man can be saved is through the gospel. Sin had condemned mankind to the wrath of God, but in His love, God gave His Son to save us.

After His sacrificial work, Jesus commanded His disciples—and everyone who would later believe—to preach the gospel to all men. This message remains the only message that truly saves.

When we answered the call to salvation, we also answered the call to become part of God’s army on earth—winning others to Christ and living lives worthy of His Kingdom. Soul-winning is a high calling, and every believer must understand this.

Every believer is expected to:
• Meditate on God’s Word to understand the resources He has provided for this mission.
• Pray intentionally about winning souls.
• Live with a passion to make impact with the gospel.

The gospel has been entrusted to us.

So go into the world and make impact. Be a soul winner.

Set weekly, monthly, and yearly targets for soul-winning. Start projects that will help bring people to Christ. Dream big and pursue God’s desire for all men to be saved.

Make impact with the Gospel. 🔥

Sermon Excerpts – March: Possessing Your Month

Day 1 – Pst. Sylvester Asilekwu
Divine Intervention
Texts: Book of Zephaniah 3:17–19, 1 Kings 17, Luke 7:13

Divine intervention is Heaven stepping into your situation — turning your mess into a beautiful message.

You need intervention when you are helpless, but you must also be responsible. God’s Word is full of commands and instructions. When you act on His Word, you position yourself for divine intervention.

Spend time with God. Pray. Listen to His Word.
When you do these things, God will show up for you.

How to Provoke Divine Intervention:
-Be born again and receive salvation.
-Act on the Word of God.
-Pray and seek the face of God.
-Take the necessary action.

Day 2 – Rev. Simon Akarah
Possessing your month

Know who you are.
Know the God you serve.
And be strong.
In the Book of Job 38:12 and Job 22:28, we see that spiritual authority is exercised through declaration and understanding your position.

Many spiritual results are triggered by what proceeds from your mouth. When you understand who you are in God, you speak with authority and establish what heaven has ordained.

Possessing Your Month

God has already made provision for our breakthroughs.

In the Book of Joshua 1:3, God told Joshua:
"Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you."
This means our testimonies, promotions, and breakthroughs already exist in God’s provision. What God expects from us is action — a move of faith.

(On soul winning)
If something matters to God, it should matter to you. As you engage in soul winning which is God's heart you will see more miracles and intervention of God.

This month of March, God has already crowned the month with goodness. Every day has been filled with His goodness and favor. But we must take steps of faith and do the needful.

Ephesians 6:12 , Obadiah 1:17

Why do many people fail to take possession?

Fear – Like the Israelites in the Book of Numbers 13:33 who saw themselves as grasshoppers.

Negative words – Words can either empower faith or reinforce defeat.

Prayerlessness – When people stop praying, they stop enforcing what God has already given.

This is the time to pray with authority.
Decree it. Seize it. Lay hold of what God has prepared for you.
In March, expect goodness, expect favor, and take possession. 🙏🔥

Pastor taught on ‘How to Increase the influence of God’s Spirit on your life’ (Working Out Your Salvation).

From Philippians 2:12–13, we learned something profound:

👉 We are not told to work for our salvation. We can’t work for it that’s why Jesus gave his life for us. He did the work.
👉 We are told to work OUT what God has already worked IN us.

The moment we believed the Gospel, God began working inside us by His Spirit. That’s why Scripture says it is God who works in us both to will and to do.

So the real question is:
How do we increase God’s influence in our lives?

Pastor shared clear keys:

✨ 1. Acknowledge God’s influence is already in you.
His Spirit is in you. His hand is on your life.

✨ 2. Expose your heart constantly to God’s Word.

Read the Word

Listen to the Word

Pray the Word

Sing the Word

Meditate on the Word

Every time you do this, you are increasing God’s influence in your life.

✨ 3. Cooperate with the Holy Spirit.
Pray in the Spirit. Yield to Him. Build a real relationship with Him.

So today, remember:

God is already working in you.
Your responsibility is to cooperate with the work within by working it out.
