FROM THE PULPIT OF CGMi BEAUTIFUL GATE CITY, KOKO
Pst. Prosper Aforke Egbeme - Resident Pastor

Family of God, Citizens of Heaven and Citizens of Nigeria,

To the glory of God, I, on behalf of the entire membership of Church of God Mission International, Beautiful Gate City, Koko - The City of God, welcome you to OCTOBER 2026, Our Month of Open Gates and to a New Nigeria.

Today is double celebration! A New Month and the Independence of our Nation. As a church, we understand that our gates are beautiful, but our nation also must be beautiful. And it begins with us, the church.

The Bible says in Psalm 24:7 - Lift up your heads O ye gates! This October, every gate that has been shut against your life, your family, your business, and against the destiny of Nigeria, we command it to be lifted!

Nigeria at 66 is not a youth anymore, we are mature. It is time for us as a church to stop only praying for Nigeria and start becoming the answer to Nigeria's prayers. Let the light of CGMi shine from Koko to the nations.

As Beautiful Gate City, we decree that Warri North will be known for righteousness, not crisis. Koko will be known for prosperity, not poverty.

MY PRAYERS FOR YOU IN THIS SEASON:

1. In this 10th month, the Beautiful Gate of this month will bring you beautiful news, beautiful testimonies, and beautiful surprises. What was ugly in September becomes beautiful in October.

2. I pray for every family under Beautiful Gate City: Your home shall have peace. Your children shall have direction. Your hands shall have prosperity. No evil shall cross the gate of your home.

3. For our Nation Nigeria: On this Independence Day, we prophesy: Nigeria, you shall not disintegrate. You shall not fail. The labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain. God is giving Nigeria a new beginning!

4. This month, you will move from the begging line to the blessing line. You will move from the back to the front. In Jesus Mighty Name.

Happy New Month and Happy Independence Day!
