THE STRAWBERRY GENERATION! - 1

Years ago, the late Mr. Lee Kuan Yew
described Singaporeans born from the 1980s (eighties) onward as "The strawberry Generation" because of their perceived lack of resilience and ruggedness in reaction to life's battles.
Those 3 words "The Strawberry Generation a" (TSG) is like lightning in a dry forest, especially as the world is running to the finishing tape line.

I also called such a generation " The Joshua Generation (TJG). This is the Generation that has not sea war, pain and hardship. Remember that the Joshua Generation was a generation that never suffer in the wilderness! They were born after Moses died and when Joshua took over!

Yes, the moses generation contented with many battles but the Joshua Generation were those born in the Promised Land of EASE and PLEASURE without serious battle! Indeed, similarly, many Singaporeans don't have the experience of living in the world War II period and thus do not understand what hardship really means.

Due to this, they often lose the fighting spirit of their forefathers in overcoming life's obstacles. But the the Lord spirit wants you to know that once you are born again, you bridge the gap between the Moses generation of bo***ge and wilderness life and the "The Joshua Generation" of mixed war and peace!

Indeed, your being born again does not exclude you from war totally! The Joshua Generation Is A Generation That Mixed War And Peace (Pleasure)! That is why you cannot be described as being in the STRAWBERRY GENERATION!

2 Timothy 2:3 screams this "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ". ENDURE HARDNESS AS A SOLDIER! In fact, see Psalm 34:19: " Many are the afflictions of the Righteous but the Lord delivered him out of them all." As the World is growing bigger in populations of many race and many evil religions, remind the devil that you are not a weakling! Remind him that you are a soldier and a warrior!

You have the spirit of the Lord of the tribe of Judah! You are not afraid of battles and you don't experience defeat because it is not in your DNA! Ye, you are not a slave and cannot be oppressed because you have royal blood running in you! Tell the old, lying devil that you are a priest and a king born to rule and to prevail! Hold on and Hold out!

JO COX: DIED ON DUTY

Jo cox was among the rising stars in the UK Parliament before she was shot dead on the streets of her Yorkshire constituency. She used her short time as an MP (Member of Parliament) to continue her career -long dedication to helping the plight of refugees.

The married mother of two young children was about to celebrate her 42nd birthday when she was shot during the last BREXIT referendum campaign in June 2016. Her death sparked deep cries from a worldwide mixed audience and millions wept for this soul that was cut down in anger.

That she died is not the news because death has become so cheap on our streets. But that she died while campaigning for what she believe in, that is the big news!

Mrs. Cox was campaigning for Britain to remain in the EU (European Union). The nab who shot her believed that Britain should leave the EU. That means she died on duty doing what she believed in! But do you know that millions of souls die OFF-DUTY?

That means they do not stand on what they believe in, to the end. People start with a vision and a goal but after strong opposition and life's battles, they either drift away from their goals, envy others or they quit totally into despair. As an MP representing that city, she was shot at the town square centre.

The Holy spirit is asking you to hold on to your dream to the end no matter what; and if needed, be ready to die for what you believe in. Don't be a quitter! Never let a STUMBLE on the road become the end of the journey. Most great destinies always face opposition and delay!

No matter how this years has been, no matter how your life has been, do not give up! Refuse to move backward! Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise again! "Age wrinkles the body but quitting wrinkles the soul" (Douglas Macarthur).

Fall if you may, crawl if you may, cry if you may, suffer temporary pain if you may, but quitting is a taboo! That was the story of Elijah in 1KINGS 18 VERSE 41-46. which is a school on rugged persistence. He had to pray. 7 times in VERSE 43 before his testimony show up. Do what you need to do or what you can do for your testimony to show up (SAMUELSON J. ONOVUGHAKPO). Oh please be rugged! Your God is able to do all things. When you feel like quitting, remember why you started. You will never die on duty in the name of Jesus Christ. Let me see your Amen in comments section.

THE LADY'S T-SHIRT:
NO VACANCY

Every day teaches us new lessons! Welcome! A young lady came up recently with an idea that would make it very difficult for any other lady to take her boyfriend away from her. She makes the man wear a T-shirt covered with multiple photographys of her face.

Can you imagine a man wearing a top (T-shirt) boasting of his partner's face ? As if the multiple photographys were not obvious enough, she printed a caption at the bottom of the T-shirt which leaves potential rivals without a doubt about the unavailability of the man.

The caption reads, if you are reading this, you are too close. I have a girlfriend. And the word "girlfriend" was underlined just to make things crystal clear. This story
may provoke laughter, but it makes things crystal clear that there is no vacancy in the man's life for other ladies.

Apostle Paul stated this in clear terms when he wrote to the Galatian Christians that there was no room in their lives for any other gospel other than that of Christ. He declared, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached into you, let him be accursed" (verse 8) From Galatians 1:1-10.

In the same way, you must realize that in your life, family and ministry (business or job), there is no room for any other gospel other than that of Christ. The Lord said in John 14:30 ".... The prince of this World cometh, and hath nothing in me."

He was saying that His life had no vacancy concerning every property of the devil. Your life has no room for whatever your God has not planted. There is also no vacancy for poverty, sickness, disease, stagnation, backwardness, failure, sin and any other negative device of Satan. Ephesians 4:27 nails this point strongly, "Neither give any place to the devil". There is no portion of your life where the enemies can occupy. You must face the enemy and say to his face, "no vacancy, I am sold out to Jesus, I have no place for you. I am totally occupied."
