A righteousness consciousness

Hebrews 10:2-3 – ASV
Else would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance made of sins year by year.

Our opening verses brings to mind the atonement for sins made once every year for the people of Israel – the church of the old testament – about how that perfection could never come to them by the levitical priesthood etiquettes; because if it could, then would the members of that antique church had have no more consciousness of sins.

Always, the problem is a sin consciousness. It is the reason people commit sin and do a whole lot of nasty stuffs. Sin consciousness will take a man to hell even if he didn’t tell a lie. But thanks be unto God for the bible says about God that he made Jesus, not bulls and goats, to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we could be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Cor. 5:21).

Train yourself to have a righteousness consciousness. The more righteousness conscious you are, the bolder you become; that’s the mentality that makes you a master in a Satan ruled world. You become a master over sin, fear, sickness, disease and death just as Paul gives it to us that sin shall have no dominion over you.

This is something you have in Christ. In romans 4:25, he says about Jesus that he was offered for our sins and was raised again for our guilt-freeness. From the day you became born again, you cease to be guilty. Yeah! That’s what Justification means – to be declared righteous. Get to become more and more conscious of your righteousness in Christ.

PRAYER
Father I thank you in the name of Jesus Christ, for he was delivered for my offences and was raised again for my justification. I affirm that I am not under the sway of sin, weakness, fear and death, but of righteousness, strength, peace and life forever more. Amen.

A New Life Order

Romans 6:4
Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death: that as like Jesus was raised from the dead by the glory of the father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life.

As a christian, there is a new principle of life, you ought to function by. When you got born again, the old life with which you were born by your earthly parents were supplanted with the new life you received in Christ Jesus our Lord. And now, having received this new life, you ought to live and function in it. There is a new order of living, a new way and manner of living.

In 1 peter 1:3, the bible says we have become born again according to the abundant mercy of God, unto a lively hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Did you see that? You are a fruit of the resurrection of Christ Jesus. This ought to explain to you the kind of life you have. The bible says since we were planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likenss of his resurrection. You are exactly as Jesus is right now.

Beloved, there is a new order of life. That status quo have changed. For example, as a born again child of God, failure for you is never an option. why? because the bible says, you are more than a conqueror in this world. Even if the whole world gangs up against you, there will be no reason to worry, why? because the one living inside you, is greater that he that is in the world. You see why James wrote to the church and said "to count it all joy, when you go through divers tests..." because, it is not possible to be defeated in this order of life.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for giving birth to me again according to your mercy and by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. You have brought me unto a living hope and Christ in me, the hope of glory. I walk in newness of life through and by the power of the Spirit which is mightily at work in me now and always in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Members of his body

Ephesians 5:30
For we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.

As a Christian, it’s imperative that you understand the message of our oneness with divinity. When you became born again, you didn’t just join a group like many people all around the world may have you think. You became a real member of the body of Christ to which the Lord Jesus himself is the head (Ephesians 1:22-23). The bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:13 that “by one Spirit are we all baptised into one body...”

To think that the Spirit of God tells us that we are members of his body is good enough; but then, he lets us know the extent to which this covers by stretching it to his flesh and bones. That means your physical flesh and bones are extension of Christ himself. We are absolutely one

Do you understand what exactly the Spirit of God is looking at when he gives us this information? Because God wants us to become fully acquainted that we and Christ are one divine creature. That means all of his life and nature, all of his ability and glory, his power, his love and compassions and everything divine that is in Christ, flows through into your body.

You know John wrote in John 1:16 and said “and of his fullness have all we received...” meaning, that which fills Jesus is now repleted in you. Now you understand what that statement Paul made in Colossians 1:10 means when he said “...and you are complete (filled) in him...” now you can see why you should never be sick and why you should never fail and be defeated in life. Because all of divinity has come to reside in your body permanently. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I am a member of the body of Christ, of his flesh and of his bones. I house in me all the fullness of the godhead bodily because I am complete in Christ Jesus where sickness, failure, defeat, lack and death does not exist. Amen!

Perfected Forever

Hebrews 10:1-2
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the good things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers there unto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

Hallelujah! What a beautiful passage of scriptures we have in our opening verse. You know Jesus came for a reason and that reason for which he came has been fulfilled through he death, burial and resurrection from the dead. The Bible says in Romans 4:23 that he was delivered for our offences and was raised again for our justification. This was same purpose for which the high priests of the old testament offered sacrifices and yet we’re unable to achieve.

But the Bible says in those sacrifices was still a remembrance that is a recollection that leads into ‘a taking account of' made again of sins every year. Meaning the Levitical order for the complete outdoing of sin failed. That’s exactly what our opening verses highlight. He says otherwise they would have ceased to offer those sacrifices. But he says no! The worshippers yet had a consciousness of sin and with such a consciousness of sin, they could never attain perfection.

But watch this, In Hebrews 10:12-14, of Jesus, he says “but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. Meaning he isn’t neither would he in later times offer another sacrifice for sin. Why? Because by one sacrifice for sins, he has perfected forever them that are sanctified. Glory to God forever. Who are these that have been perfected? Of cause you. So you have been perfected forever by the one for all sacrifice of Jesus for sins.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for I am sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Holy Spirit. Thank you for the vicarious death and burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead which has for once and all time perfected me forever. I walk perfect therefore in every circumstances of life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

A word for the week

The anointing for productivity

John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

God wants us as his kids to be fruitful and productive. And he has anointed us for it. That's what it means to be a Christian. It means that the anointing for productivity and lasting result is at work in us.

Jesus said he is the vine, and we are the branches. Do you realize that being born again brings you into a divine oneness with the Lord? His very nature of success is verily at work in us. He has empowered us for productivity.

Now we must recognize the life and the anointing for lasting results which is currently and always at work in us. We are like trees planted by the rivers of water and our leaves evergreen and we vent out fruits in and out of season.

Confession
The anointing which I have received remains in me and I am fruitful and productive. I am result oriented. I bring forth fruits in and out of season and my fruits remain. Hallelujah

Made alive

Ephesians 2:1
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Our opening verse describes the condition of a man that is not yet saved. He is dead in trespasses and sins. That’s how God sees him. In the second part of 1 Corinthians 15:22, the bible says “For as in Adam all die…” That’s the condition of the man who is yet unsaved. Because he is an offspring of Adam he is dead spiritually, he is an alien of God and cut off from the life and the nature of God.

But it is not same for you, because from the day you became born again, you ceased to be a spiritually dead man; because in Christ Jesus you have been made alive (1 Corinthians 15:22b).” You were awakened into the fatherhood of God; you have been brought into a rich and a vital fellowship with God almighty. You have become alive spiritually speaking. Paul writes to the church in Rome and said “…reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:9 “God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord.” That’s what it means to be made alive. You have arrived in fellowship with the Godhead in Christ Jesus. No more consciousness of sin and fear. You have come to a place of glory where you see him even as he is and you revealed in him.

PRAYER
Righteous Father, I thank you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for giving birth to me again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I am alive unto God and his realm of existence and as he is so am I in this world. Amen.
