There's a new topic trending on social media about what Pope said concerning same s£x marriage. I don't really know what he said and I don't care. What I really don't like is, some group of ignoramus coming on social media to deride or speak ill about Christianity. Christianity does not recognize or accept the office of the Pope, only Catholicism and some of the Orthodox churches. Roman Catholicism is different from Christianity. "Roman" Catholicism has some touch of the Roman traditions. Only the Levites can be priest but in Roman Catholicism, anyone can be a priest, including a gentile. In Roman Catholicism, the office of a prophet, pastor, apostle or evangelist is not recognized, but bishop, archbishop, priest, father and sister are recognized instead. These were not the practices of the early Christians. The world accepts Pope as the leader of Christianity, but Christianity does not recognize him. It is a political office. No political office can rule over Christianity, as Christianity is a government of its own, with Christ as the government of God over HIS people. So, whatever Pope says, judge the religious politician for any mistake he makes. It will be unwise of you to judge Christianity in general using the words of Pope. It only tells your level of ignorance about Christianity. I hope the message is well communicated.
