The Annual Parish Harvest of St. Joseph Parish, Afaha Oku is here, and this year, we're celebrating under a powerful theme:

"Harvest of Unstoppable Grace"
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

God's grace has brought us this far, and it is more than enough. Come, let us gather in gratitude, in faith, and in joyful celebration of everything His grace has made possible.

Pentecost Homily Summary | Very Rev. Fr. Ephraim Asanausung, Homilist.

The Holy Spirit is life. He brings holiness, and He brings oneness. Because God is one, His Spirit is one, and every gift He pours upon us flows from that same source. There is no room for rivalry here. Every gift, every grace, is given for one purpose: to serve God.

The Holy Spirit moves like a current. We must follow His leading and not be drawn away by another spirit. His path is genuine, gentle, and never hidden. When we surrender to His guidance, something shifts in us. We begin to soar. We find our voice. We become fruitful and visible.

And the Spirit of God is fire. Not a fire that destroys, but one that renews, transforms, and revives. It is a fire of courage, power, and authority. Above all, it is a fire of love.

This Pentecost, open yourself to that fire.

Sixth Sunday of Easter – Homily Summary

The Holy Spirit is involved in everything we do. As we set our priorities, we must remember God. Too often, we become busy and assume He understands our neglect, but in truth it shows how little we love Him. We want God to understand us, yet we rarely strive to understand Him.

Faith requires sacrifice. Without the sacrifices of the apostles, the Church would not exist today. In every situation, we are called to live in the Spirit, for it is the Spirit that empowers us to do extraordinary things.

Jesus reminds us: “If you love me, keep my commandments.” When we walk in obedience, He remains with us. And when Jesus is with us, we cannot fall, for He manifests Himself within us.
