✝️ SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS ✝️

Summary of the teachings on ‘IGNITE- Activating the flame of purpose for kingdom mandate ‘🔥🔥

It is no new thing that we are the lights of the world but what is new is that we shine not for our own purpose, but for God’s purpose ..

People should be ignited by the fire we carry,we should be able to affect others by the way we live our various lives..

The goal has never been to attract attention to ourselves but to work and purpose God has implanted in us..

Burning for Christ , make sure there’s something that differentiates your past life and your life when you encountered God. Receiving a call is not enough but maintaining that fire and imparting others should be the goal..

As you carry on with your life this week, let your character and behavior cause men to see God through you 🙏🏾✝️

God be praised 🙌🏾🤲🏾

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: IGNITE... activating the flame of purpose for Kingdom mandate

𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: Burning Lights for the Kingdom

𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: Matthew 5:14–16

God has not ignited His fire in us merely for our personal benefit. He has called us to shine, serve, and make Christ visible in a dark world.

1. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” Every believer has a responsibility to represent Christ wherever God has placed them. Our lives should point people toward God.

2. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻
A lamp is not lit to be covered. Likewise, we must not hide our gifts, faith, testimony, or calling because of fear, insecurity, or discouragement. God expects us to use what He has entrusted to us.

3. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁
God has given each believer gifts and abilities for a purpose. 2 Timothy 1:6–7 reminds us to fan into flame the gift of God within us. The fire in us should become service through us.

4. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀
According to Acts 1:8, the Holy Spirit gives us power to be witnesses. Kingdom influence is not achieved merely through human strength; we need the Spirit's empowerment.

5. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗱
Matthew 5:16 teaches that people should see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. The purpose of our shining is not to draw attention to ourselves but to direct attention to God.

6. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀
𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀.
A believer who genuinely lives for Christ can encourage others, strengthen the Church, influence a family, and impact a community. We are called not only to burn but to help others encounter Christ.

7. 𝗪𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲
The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18–20 reminds us that our light must lead to action—going, making disciples, teaching, serving, and proclaiming Christ.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆
God ignites us so that we can illuminate others.
We are called to - Burn with passion, Shine with purpose, Serve with love, Witness with bold
ness, Make disciples and Glorify God.

Don't hide the light God has placed in you. Let your character, words, gifts, service, and testimony reveal Christ to the people around you.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come.” — Isaiah 60:1

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
I am a light in this generation. I will not hide my light. I will use the gifts God has given me for His glory. I will shine where He has placed me, serve His Kingdom faithfully, and point others to Jesus Christ. My life will be a burning light for the Kingdom. Amen.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: IGNITE ...Activating the Flame of Purpose for Kingdom Mandate

𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: FROM FIRE TO FRUITS ...when the flame within changes the life without limits.

𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: Matt. 7:16-20

The central message was that Christianity must go beyond outward appearance and church activity to produce Christlike character. Using the biblical picture of a tree and its fruit, we were reminded that the fruit of our lives reveals the condition of our hearts.

Our reactions under pressure, attitudes, private tendencies, relationships and conduct are all indicators of what is happening within us. Just as smoke points to something burning somewhere, our character points to something happening within.

The teaching emphasized that being born again is the beginning of a journey of transformation, not the end of growth. The Holy Spirit must be given room to transform our minds, desires, thoughts, emotions and character. We must therefore move beyond asking God merely to use us and begin asking Him to work on us.
We were also challenged to guard our associations and environments because what continually feeds our hearts can influence the fruit we produce.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲
God is not only interested in what we are doing for Him; He is interested in who we are becoming before Him.
Therefore, the deeper question is not only:
“What have I done?”
but:
“What kind of tree am I becoming?”

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆
A genuine fire for God must eventually produce the fruit of Christ.

Prayer - 🙏🙏🙏
May the fire of the Holy Spirit burn deeply within us and transform our lives until our character becomes evidence of the Christ we profess.

SUMMARY OF THE TEACHING SERIES (DAY 2)

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: IGNITE – Activating the Flame of Purpose for Kingdom Mandate

𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: Altars That Keep the Fire Burning

𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: Leviticus 6:12–13

Today’s service was a powerful continuation of our IGNITE teaching series, focusing on the importance of maintaining the spiritual fire that God has placed within every believer.

The teaching, “Altars That Keep the Fire Burning,” emphasized that while God is the One who kindles the fire, believers have the responsibility to keep it burning. As stated in Leviticus 6:12–13, the fire on the altar was never to go out. This speaks to the believer’s responsibility to continually nurture his or her relationship with God.

We were reminded that a burning life requires a maintained altar. Our spiritual altar represents our place of encounter, worship, prayer, sacrifice, obedience, and fellowship with God. When the altar is neglected, the fire gradually loses its intensity; but when the altar is consistently maintained, the fire continues to burn.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴

1. The Altar of Prayer – A consistent prayer life keeps our fellowship with God alive and strengthens us spiritually.
1 Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1.

2. The Altar of the Word – God’s Word supplies spiritual fuel and keeps our hearts sensitive to His voice and direction.
Jeremiah 20:9; Psalm 119:105.

3. The Altar of Worship and Praise – Genuine worship keeps our hearts focused on God and creates an atmosphere for His presence.
Psalm 34:1; John 4:23–24.

4. The Altar of Sacrifice and Surrender – Keeping the fire burning requires laying our lives, desires, time, gifts, and resources before God.
Romans 12:1.

5. The Altar of Obedience – Spiritual fire is sustained when we respond to God’s instructions and live according to His will.
1 Samuel 15:22; James 1:22.

The service challenged everyone to examine the condition of their personal altar. We were encouraged not to depend solely on yesterday’s spiritual experience but to cultivate a fresh encounter with God every day.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The central message was clear: God wants the fire to keep burning, but the altar must be continually maintained. Our prayer is that the fire of faith, purpose, holiness, worship, and service will never go out in our lives.

As we continue in this month of IGNITE, may God revive every neglected altar, restore every fading flame, and empower us to burn consistently for His glory and for the fulfilment of our Kingdom Mandate.

“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: IGNITE – Activating the Flame of Purpose for Kingdom Mandate
𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: The Call to Burn for God
𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: 2 Timothy 1:6–7

Today's teaching emphasized that God's call is not merely a call to exist, but a call to burn with passion for Him and to fulfill His kingdom mandate. Every believer has been given gifts by God, but those gifts become effective only when sustained by spiritual fire.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀
* One of the greatest tragedies in the Christian life is not the absence of gifts, but the absence of spiritual fire. Gifts without passion for God produce little kingdom impact.

* God created every believer with a purpose. He calls us to burn for Him and become instruments for advancing His kingdom.

* Before God can use us to shape others, He must first shape and transform us into the people He desires us to become.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹
1, Be Born Again (John 3:3).
2, Experience Deliverance (Isaiah 61:1).
3, Grow through Discipleship:
i, Becoming a child (1 Corinthians 13:11).
ii, Becoming a mature son (Psalm 2:7–8).
4, Discover Your Purpose (Ephesians 2:10).
5, Develop a Dominion Mentality (2 Timothy 1:7)

𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹
(1 Corinthians 12:4–6)
As believers respond to God's call, they receive:
1, The Gifts of the Holy Spirit (v.4).
2, The Gifts of Ministry through Jesus Christ (v.5).
3, The Gifts of Activity from God the Father (v.6).

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
God is raising believers to influence every sphere of society, including:
Governance - Power
Business - Riches/Wealth
Education - Wisdom
Family and Social Life - Might/Strength
The Church - Honor
Entertainment - Glory
Health and Media - Blessings/Praise

As we burn for God in these areas, His power, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, riches, and praise will be revealed through our lives (Revelation 5:11–12).

𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
Spiritual fire does not sustain itself. It must be intentionally nurtured through prayer, God's Word, fellowship, worship, obedience, and continual dependence on the Holy Spirit. This is why Paul instructed Timothy to "fan into flame the gift of God" (2 Timothy 1:6).

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
I am saved by grace.
I am shaped with purpose.
I am sent to make a difference.
So help me, God. Amen.
