Guarding Your Peace: A Holy Calling
"Cut out anything in your life that messes with your peace of mind."
As Christians, this isn't just good advice, it’s a spiritual necessity. But biblical peace isn't just the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God (Jehovah Shalom).
When we allow toxic relationships, constant negativity, compromise, or over-busyness to clutter our lives, we are letting the noise of the world drown out the whisper of the Holy Spirit.
What does the Word say?
• Proverbs 4:23 – "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
How to Apply This Today:
• Say "No" to Drama: If a conversation, a group chat, or a social media feed consistently leaves you feeling anxious, bitter, or drained, it’s time to mute it or walk away.
• Set Holy Boundaries: Protecting your peace means protecting your time with God. Cut out the clutter that steals your prayer life.
• Surrender the Control: Sometimes, the thing messing with your peace is your own tendency to overthink. Hand it over to the Father.
You cannot pour from an empty cup, and you cannot reflect Christ well when your soul is in constant turmoil. It is not selfish to remove what disrupts your spiritual alignment, it is stewardship.
Guard your peace today. God gave it to you, and no one has the right to steal it🙌✨
