THEME: GOD REQUIRES SACRIFICE
TEXT: GENESIS 22:1–5, GENESIS 28:15–18, LEVITICUS 1
BIBLE READING: GENESIS 22:1–5

INTRODUCTION:
Sacrifice means giving something valuable to God. It involves putting aside our comfort and giving something that costs us. God sometimes requires a special sacrifice from His people.

MESSAGE:
Meaning of Sacrifice:
Sacrifice is giving God something valuable. It goes beyond the usual and requires a person to give up something that is important to them.

God Requires Sacrifice:
• God requires a special sacrifice that costs us something.
• A special sacrifice goes beyond the usual offering.
• Sacrifice requires putting aside our comfort.
• Everything we have comes from God.

Abraham's Sacrifice:
Abraham did what God required when He asked him to offer Isaac. He took Isaac and went to the mountain to make the sacrifice.
• Abraham obeyed God even though it was difficult.
• Isaac went with his father to the place of sacrifice.
• God provided a ram when Abraham was ready to offer Isaac.
• God blessed Abraham because of his obedience and faith.

Christ and Sacrifice:
The sacrifice of Isaac points to Christ, who carried the cross for our sins. Just as Isaac carried the wood to the place of sacrifice, Jesus carried the cross and gave Himself for us.

CALL TO ACTION:
Be willing to give God what He requires from you. Do not allow comfort to stop you from obeying Him. Trust God and follow His instructions.

PRAYER:
Father, give me the grace to obey You and give what You require from me. Help me to trust You even when it is difficult, and let my life be a sacrifice that pleases You. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏

THEME: THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS POWER
TEXT: 1 THESSALONIANS 1:5, MARK 8:38, JAMES 5:16B, JOHN 14:12
BIBLE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 4:14–20

INTRODUCTION:
The Kingdom of God is not just about words but about power. God's power is made available to believers through the name of Jesus, His blood, His Word, prayer, faith, and the Holy Spirit.

MESSAGE:
The Dimensions of the Kingdom:
• The Power in the Name of Jesus: There is power in the name of Jesus to save, deliver, and bring victory. (Matthew 1:21)
• The Power of the Blood of Jesus: The blood of Jesus brings redemption and victory. (Revelation)
• The Power in the Gospel: The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. (Romans 1:16)
• The Power of the Word of God: God's Word is living and powerful. (Hebrews 4:12)
• The Power of Prayer: Prayer connects believers to the power of God. (James 5:16)
• The Power of Faith: Faith is necessary to please God and experience His power. (Hebrews 11:6, Mark 9)
• The Power of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit empowers believers to function in the supernatural.

Things That Help Us Function in God's Power:
• Purity and holiness. (Hebrews 12:14)
• A consistent prayer life. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
• Fellowship with other believers. (Acts 2:42)
• Knowing and walking with the Holy Spirit.
• Honouring God with your life.
• Digesting and living by the Word of God.
• Faithfully fulfilling your destiny.
• Not quenching the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:19)
• Stirring up the gift of God in you. (2 Timothy 1:6–7)

CALL TO ACTION:
Desire the power of God and make room for the Holy Spirit in your life. Live in holiness, pray consistently, study God's Word, and walk by faith.

PRAYER:
Father, fill me with Your power and help me to walk in the power of Your Kingdom. Give me grace to live in holiness, prayer, faith, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Help me to fulfil my destiny and never quench Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏

INTRODUCTION:
Storms represent the troubles, challenges, and situations that affect the children of God. No matter how big the storm may be, Jesus is greater than the storm.

MESSAGE:
Jesus and the Storm:
The disciples were in a ship when a great storm arose. They cried out to Jesus, asking Him to save them. Jesus arose and said, “Peace, be still,” and the storm stopped. This shows that Jesus has power over every storm.

Storms We May Face:
• Storms in the family
• Storms in marriage
• Storms in the workplace
• Storms in the church
• Storms in friendships
• Storms in the world

Examples of Storms in the Bible:
• Jesus and His disciples faced a storm at sea.
• Abraham and Sarah faced a storm concerning childbearing, but God's promise was fulfilled.
• Elijah also experienced difficult moments, but God was with him.

The Power of God:
• No storm is greater than Jesus.
• No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
• God is greater than every power fighting against His children.
• Give the Holy Spirit a chance to work in your life.

CALL TO ACTION:
Whatever storm you are facing, do not give up. Call on Jesus and trust Him, because He is greater than every storm.

PRAYER:
Father, thank You because no storm is bigger than You. Speak peace into every storm in my life, my family, my work, and every area that concerns me. Let Your power give me victory. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
