Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them...” - Mark 10:14

Today, we joined in thanksgiving with the family of Bro. & Sis. Richard Etim Udo as they worshipped God with their precious daughter, Little Miss Miracle Richard.

We pray that the Lord will keep, guide, protect, and establish Miracle for greatness. May she grow in wisdom, grace, and the knowledge of God, fulfilling His divine purpose for her life.

Congratulations to the family! We rejoice and celebrate with you. May God’s abundant blessings continue to rest upon your home.

A glance on today’s worship at Church of Christ Nung Ukot Itam

Sunday School ‎Topic: Resisting Temptation
Teacher: Brother Gabriel Ofonime Effiong

‎"Submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" - James 4:7.

‎‎Every Christian, regardless of age or spiritual maturity, faces temptation.
Temptation is an enticement or solicitation to do what is contrary to God's will.

Notice the order in James 4:7:
- submission comes before resistance
- You cannot consistently resist evil while resisting God.
‎
‎Lesson to learn:
1. Submission to God is the foundation of purity - Romans 12:1
2. Resisting temptation requires knowing your weaknesses - Corinthians 10:12.
3. Do not negotiate with temptation.
4. Resist temptation before it becomes sin - James 1:15.
5. Guard your heart and your mind - Proverbs 4: 23.
6. Use God's word as you weapon.
7. Watch and pray - Matthew 26:41.

If you fall into sin, don't run away from God rather, run back to God.
