What a beautiful way to begin the month! ❤️

Our First Sunday & Holy Communion Service was filled with God’s presence as we gathered at His table in worship and thanksgiving. We also celebrated Mother’s Thanksgiving and joyfully welcomed Master Caleb Utibe Robert in a Child Presentation service.

SUNDAY 14TH JUNE, 2026

We were richly blessed as we gathered in God’s presence and received His Word through Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Evans Monday Onyemara on the topic: “God Will Fight for You” from Exodus 14:13–14.

Through the message, we were reminded to be still, not be afraid, and to keep our faith firmly anchored in God. We learned that fear is one of the enemy’s tools used to prevent believers from standing firm in God’s promises and purposes.

The sermon also emphasized that the gap between success and failure is often just a step of faith. We were encouraged to cast our burdens upon the Lord, for He sustains His people (Psalm 55:22), trust in His unfailing care (Psalm 34:10), keep our eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2), and find rest in Him (Matthew 11:28).

We left the service with renewed confidence that regardless of the battles we face, God remains our Defender. When we stand still in faith and trust Him completely, He fights for us.

The induction and reception service in honour of The Very Rev. Etieka John E. Iniekung was truly a remarkable and colorful occasion, filled with joy, reverence, and the undeniable presence of God.

Officiated by the Archbishop, Most Rev. John E. Koko-Bassey, the service carried great spiritual depth and significance, while the presence of special dignitaries added honor and beauty to the celebration.

It was a powerful moment of faith, leadership, and new beginnings, indeed a day to remember 🙏🏽
