THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA GETS NEW LEADERSHIP
....As Pastor Dr. Lawrence Oladele emerges 4th indigenous National President

Sequel to the expiration of Pastor Dr. S. E. Igwe led National Executive Council of TACN, the Church body at his 2025th National General Council Meeting through a keenly contested elections divinely led the Spirit of God to choose her new set of leaders who would serve as principal officers at the National level.
The election which was conducted at the national headquarters of the Church, in Olorunda Ketu, Lagos, on Thursday February 6, 2025, with due diligence, birthed new leaders that would pilot the affairs of the Church.
The results of the elections adjudged to be free, fair and credible were announced by the incumbent National President of the Church, Apostle Dr. Sampson E. Igwe, who would relinquish power to the new leadership, by August, this year.
Accordingly, Pastor Dr. Lawrence Olusesan Oladele emerged as the 4th indigenous National President of the Church with 388 votes, against Pastor J. D. O. Ekele who polled 196 votes, both from LAWNA Territory.
For the National Vice President, Pastor E. U. Johnson emerged as the National Vice President with 20 votes margin, polling 298 votes, to the 278 votes polled by Pastor Prof. I. N. George, both from Akwa Ibom State Territory.
The National Secretary position was zoned to Maritime Territory, with Pastor Prof. Benjamin B. Fakae polling 323 votes to emerge as the national scribe, edging Pastor I. B. Zorzor with 155 votes.
For the Deputy National Secretary, Pastor Isaac G. Awotanmi, PhD, from LAWNA Territory clinched the deputy scribe role after polling 301 votes, to edge through Pastor Dr. Titus O. Akinbami who polled 171 votes
From Cross River Territory, Pastor Odionka Nyong emerged the National Finance Secretary after polling 304 votes, to Pastor W. U. Ikpi who polled 134 votes.
On the whole, Pastor S. A. Ogu from LAWNA Territory was nominated as Deputy National Finance Secretary unopposed.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected national President of TACN, Pastor Dr Lawrence Oladele appreciated the efforts of outgoing National officers for their exemplary leadership and pledges to be humble and patient in learning from the fathers.
The newly elected national officers of the church will be officially inducted later this year, in August.
We pray God to strengthen them and imbue them with the GRACE to pilot the affairs of the church. AMEN.
