HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY 2026

Today, the 31st day of May 2026, the Church joins believers around the world in celebrating Holy Trinity Sunday—a sacred reminder of the mystery and majesty of our God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Trinity reveals the fullness of God's love and His work in our salvation. The Father created us, the Son redeemed us through His death and resurrection, and the Holy Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and sanctify us daily.

Though three distinct Persons, they are one God, united in purpose, power, and glory. The doctrine of the Trinity calls us to worship God with reverence, gratitude, and unwavering faith.

As we celebrate this Holy Trinity Sunday, may we experience the Father's love, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit in every area of our lives.

To the One True God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—be all glory, honor, and praise forever. Amen.

“Thus far the Lord has helped us” (1 Samuel 7:12)

📍SERMON

Theme: JESUS IS LORD AND CHRIST
Text: Acts 2:14, 22–36

Today’s message centered on the powerful declaration that Jesus is both Lord and Christ, as boldly proclaimed by Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost.

Drawing from Acts 2:14, Peter stood with the eleven apostles and addressed the crowd with clarity and boldness, showing that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was not confusion but the fulfillment of God’s promise.

In Acts 2:22–24, Peter reminded the people of Jesus of Nazareth—His mighty works, miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him. Yet, despite this, He was delivered, crucified, and killed by lawless hands. However, God raised Him up, breaking the power of death because it was impossible for Him to be held by it.

Moving further in Acts 2:25–32, Peter referenced David’s prophecy, showing that Jesus’ resurrection was not accidental but divinely foretold. The resurrection became the ultimate proof that Jesus is truly the Messiah.

Finally, in Acts 2:33–36, Peter declared that Jesus has been exalted to the right hand of God, receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit, which He has now poured out. The sermon climaxed with a strong declaration:
“Let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this same Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

The sermon emphasized that:
• Jesus is not just a prophet or teacher—He is Lord over all.
• His resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith.
• Every believer must recognize and submit to His Lordship.

The congregation was reminded that acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Christ is not just a confession, but a call to surrender, obedience, and faith.
