The Nigeria Uyo Mission's August Zone Conference was a huge success yesterday! About 150 full-time missionaries gathered to learn from leaders, explore the scriptures, and share experiences. The conference featured heartfelt testimonies from 7 outgoing missionaries, who shared powerful experience and blessings of serving as instruments of the Lord. What a wonderful opportunity for spiritual growth and connection!

The Nigeria Uyo Mission held a successful Mission Leadership Council (MLC) today, aptly known as "The Heartbeat" of the mission. During this crucial gathering, zone leaders, sisters training leaders and district leaders were called out to review key growth indicators, addressed challenges, and collaborated to resolve concerns.

The Assistants to the Mission President provided valuable guidance on effective leadership and setting a good example. President and Sister Dadzie drew inspiration from the scriptures and "Preach My Gospel" and encouraged leaders to achieve their goals through careful planning, goal-setting, and principle of faith and action. They emphasized the importance of key conversion indicators in missionary work.

- Monday, August 11th: Mission Leadership Council [MLC]
- Tuesday, August 12th: Zone Conference

Theme for the Conference:
"Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness..." (Doctrine & Covenants 58:27)

Both MLCs and Zone Conferences are essential components of mission organization, aiming to support missionaries in their work, foster spiritual growth, and promote effective missionary work. By working together, these councils and conferences help missionaries achieve their goals and bring people closer to Christ.

"Exciting New Additions to the Nigeria Uyo Mission''

On July 30th, 2025, we warmly welcomed 10 new missionaries from the Ghana MTC - 6 dedicated Elders and 4 devoted Sisters. President and Sister Dadzie gave them a heartfelt welcome, they participated in an orientation exercise, gaining valuable insights about the mission and meeting their trainers.
