Topic: God's Grace is Sufficient to Go Round

Bible Reading
Isaiah 55:1-2
1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not. satisfy?. Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

Quote
"We are permitted to draw upon God's store of grace from day to day as we need it." - Dwight L. Moody

Insight
Isaiah 55:1f is an open invitation to enjoy God's free offer of grace and salvation. It's a confirmation that salvation (deliverance from sin, sickness and bo***ge) is not earned by works or substances, rather a free gift from God to every willing heart. God's salvation is for those who desire it, and come for it even if they don't have money or anybody. God queried men who go to spend money on unsatisfying foods, when there is the God's offer of free and sufficient food. The same scenario that played during Isaiah's day is also playing out today. People prefer to go through some emergency and painful ascetic practices to sought out their challenges, than to submit to Jesus for a perfect consecration. Others prefer to pay for "spiritual assignments' than go to God on their kneels. Some prefer to "bribe their way to Prosperity" than to render acceptable, obedient and sacrificial worship/services to God and humanity. The truth is that Jesus had paid the price for us on the cross, so every benefit of Calvary including salvation from sin, sicknesses, bo***ges and yokes, Prosperity in life and careers is FREE. AND SUFFICIENT to go round. We don't need to PAY for or be STARVED of these benefits of our relationship with God.

Prayer
Father, open my eyes to the abundance of Your treasures, and grant me the wisdom to access my portion effortlessly in Jesus name Amen.

Topic: God's Ultimate Reign of Peace

Bible Reading
Micah 4:1-4
1 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it.
2 Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
4 But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, And no one shall make them afraid; For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.

Quote
He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever." Revelation 21:4

Insight
This prophecy about the mountain of the Lord being established on the top of the mountains, speaks about the ultimate rule of Christ in the heart of men, and over the universe. Though God is still in-charge, but a closer look reveals some level of struggle in certain areas. However, there will be a time when God will finally crush every opposition to His rule. The prophecy have bifocal meaning. First, it speaks of God's rule in the lives of believing men and women (the church), then second, it speaks of God's rule at the end of times (eternity). Today, the prophecy is fulfilled in the church, in that Jesus established the Church to become the only place of imparting the knowledge of God. Men and women all over are flooding the church to receive from the Word of God, knowledge, insight, peace of mind and understanding.

Topic: Letting the Past, Pass

Bible Reading
Isaiah 43:16-18
16 Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea. And a path through the mighty waters,
17 Who brings forth the chariot and horse,
The army and the power
(They shall lie down together, they shall not rise; They are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick):
18 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Quote
You can't lay hold of the new, while holding on to the old.

Insight
This text introduced God as God Almighty who does far more than can imagine. Israel have known God as One who makes a way in the sea. They have known Him as one who creates a path through the mighty waters. Who brings forth the chariot and horse, even
the army and the power down. However, God wanted them to know Him beyond His past exploits. He desired that they know Him in the now, and experientially too. So, the best way to understand God's present capabilities is to look beyond the past. Many of us once had a convincing encounter with God, but today it is as if that same God is no longer active in us. The truth is that, hanging on to a particular experience without the desire for fresh exploit, makes one soon lose passion even in that level of experience. Hanging in the past, pin us down from exploring the new/future. God told the Israelites to let go of what they know about the past experience of His power because something better, brighter and bigger is about to happen. Do you wish to have a better experience of your relationship with God, your spouse, your life, or your career, then you must let the past, pass and pursue a fresh course of life.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant us the enabling grace to always pursue a fresh course of life, and never be tied down by our past experiences of failure or succes
