It is important to know by christians that going to church is not the ultimate. But rather, the ultimate is living the life of Christ in practical terms. The bible records in the book of Acts, that at Antioch, the people saw a reflection of the life of Christ in the Apostles; and called them christians from that time. We inherited the name from the patriarch of old. Let this mind that was in Christ be in you. Phil. 2:5, and Roms. 8:11, says if the spirit of him that raised Christ from the death dwells in you, it will quicken your mortal body. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, confirm your words in the scripture that says, there shall be no peace for the wicked, in the lives and families of believers in you this year. And judge them accordingly. Let every wicked around us never go unpunished. As you did in Egypt, please do it again that men might fear you. Isaiah 48:22, 57:21. Jesus is Lord! Serving God with understanding: it is true and real that ignorance is the greatest malady of mankind in the earth; from the inception of the world. Therefore, it is important to strive by all civilized mean to overcome it in our time, having felt the detrimental impact of it in our fast decoying world. The scripture holds it that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge Hosea 4:6. Now most of the anomalies we tend to experience in the body of Christ lately is traced to a large extent, ignorance of the knowledge of the truth by the so called worshippers of our time. So we are praying thus: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, grant us understanding that we might serve you in spirit and in truth according to the template that was bequeath us by the Apostles of old. 1 Kings 3:9,11,12 and Eph. 1:18. Jesus is Lord!

Looking at the word of God as a supernatural mirror of life: As a cosmetic mirror and reflective mirror is to humans, so is the word of God. We can't practically, and successfully take a walk with God in this life without the instrumentality of the word. It was given to help build us up, and also gives us an inheritance among all that are sanctified. 2 Tim 3:16, James 1:22-25. Therefore, the prayer point for today is: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, stirrup in believers all over the world, a supernatural yearning to study the word daily to guide and to strengthen them to run, and finish this race strong for the crown of glory in the end.
