Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. _Psalm 62:6-7

We are rooted in Christ.
We stand on the Rock.
We are planted deep.
We shall not fall.

Say AMEN if you know the Rock you stand on can never be shaken nor moved.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6

BIBLE READING: EZEKIEL 7-8

THINGS TO NOTE: 8:5-18;
Idol worship in the house called by the name of God Almighty is even more rampant in our generation than it was among the children of Israel of old.

This happens in many forms:

1️⃣ Some church founders practise occult in the guise of church. Ignorant people go there and get enslaved.

Therefore you have to be careful of where you go for prayers.

2️⃣ There are some church denominations whose doctrines are the doctrines of satan e.g. keeping of images and bowing down to them (spiritism), and the use of mystical books and other materials.

3️⃣ There are those who want to turn the church with good foundation to a place of evil practice such as witchcraft and other abominable practices.

As a church pastor, a leader or any other member worshipping God in spirit and in truth, you should pray effectively against such thing happening in your church.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 5

BIBLE READING: EZEKIEL 5-6

THINGS TO NOTE: 5:13;
“Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them …..” God was not happy with the children of Israel because of their disobedience to Gods commandments.

God was always speaking against them and promised to punish them. What this tells us is that, as the Psalmist puts it, God is angry with the wicked everyday.

Since you know that God is always angry with sinners, run away from sin so that you are not an enemy of God. Divine security is not there for sinners and they are living at the mercy of satan.

Choose the righteous path so that God will be happy with you and bless you.
