We lost a brother, a friend, and a mentor today, a man with a pure heart of service.
Mr Efet Boyo Efet, the peoples warden of Our Saviours Anglican Church, Ikpa Road , Uyo was allegedly assassinated in the early hours of Monday, 31st January, 2022.

According to his wife, Mr Efet had left home the previous night and called home that he will not be returning early that night only for them to get the news of his demise before dawn.

One of our respondents said: "We were woke up around 3am today and received a sad report of assassination of our member , the people's warden of our saviour's Anglican Church,Mr Efet Douglas Efet. He was reportedly stabbed on his chest which he died before medical assistance ,His Corp was deposited on the moutuary. Whoever that killed Mr Efet Douglas , will not go unpunish and his blood shall speak for vengeance. May his soul rest in perfect peace."

He was found lying on the road of Four Lane Uyo at that early hours of the day after receiving the disturbing call claiming he had an accident... the family who got there first rushed him quickly to a hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Autopsy shows that he was stabbed to death rather than the claimed accident and the case has been reported to Akwaibom State Police Command immediately.
The police are presently on investigation and promised to bring the perpetrators of this evil to book.

We lay sober and await the resurrection remembrance of our Lord and Christ Jesus.
The reason for this season is mainly to remind the world and generations yet unborn of the one true SON of the FATHER who gave his life on the cross on a mission to reconcile man with GOD and to seize power from the dark world, having the key on eternal life.
And we as Christians has been crucified in the flesh with him and on the resurrection, we will resurrect with him, no more to live our lives but to live his life and behave like Christ; That is what people of the world should see in you and call you a Christian.

Beloved friends, the Anglican Diocese Of Uyo host her synod this weekend; Friday 28th AUGUST - Sunday 30th AUGUST, 2020 . We welcome all our Special Guest , mostly our guest preacher Rt Rev'd Christian Ugwuzor Bishop Diocese Of Aba Anglican Communion. We congratulate our dear Bishop Rt Rev'd Prince Asukwo Antai, Jp and we wish him successful synod.
