Three hour’s work with rest is much more productive than ten hour’s work without rest.

Whenever you discover your morale is low, you get irritable at little things, get angry unnecessarily often.

It is a sign of exhaustion.

You need to take a break and rest.

You can’t keep working all day and not take a few hours to rest.

If you do not rest, you are calling for a serious health issue.

In Exodus 20, the Bible makes it clear that rest is vital.

It is spelt out in clear language that you must rest after labour.

For six days, God was busy creating the heavens and the earth and everything therein, but on the seventh day, He rested.

If God rested after six days’ work, man also needs rest.

Although God can never get exhausted, but He decided to rest so man can do likewise.

He took a break to show the mortal man how to live a stressless life.

God is immortal; He cannot degenerate but man is mortal, he needs to keep the rules of healthy living.

No doubt, our daily jobs demand much from us which we must be ready and willing to offer.

However, break or rest must be observed as and when due, because the lifespan of work is longer than the lifespan of man.

Always remember that you are not indispensable.

If you get incapacitated today, someone else will replace you.

So, delegate authority where necessary, do not be Mr. or Mrs. Do-It-All.

Prioritize your activities and never allow anything to distract you while resting.

Remember, he who fails to rest will soon be laid to rest.

Your life shall not be cut short, long life is your inheritance.

You’re lifted.

I love you!

Today's Anchor Scripture: For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Exodus 20:11

A person with a glorious destiny or a promising future will naturally face giants.

Giants represent overwhelming challenges: fear, opposition, limitations, delays, and intimidating circumstances that seem bigger than human ability.

And most times, they appear when you are close to breakthrough, not when you are far from it.

The presence of these giants is not to intimidate you but to showcase the power of God.

The land of promise is often filled with both blessings and battles.

We get excited about the promise, but panic when we see the giants.

However, giants are not meant to stop us; they are meant to test our faith, courage, and trust in God.

When David faced Goliath, the entire army of Israel was afraid.

Goliath looked too big to defeat, but David saw something different.

While others saw a giant, he saw an opportunity for God to be glorified.

With a simple sling and strong faith, he defeated what others feared for 40 days.

This victory implies giants are no match when God is with you.

Fear always exaggerates the size of the problem, but faith demystifies the problem and magnifies the power of God.

The difference between those who conquer and those who retreat is not the size of the giant, but the size of their faith.

God does not promise a life without giants, but He promises His presence in every battle.

When God is with you, giants are no match.

The same God who gave victory to David still fights for His people today.

Do not allow intimidation to silence your faith.

What looks like a barrier may actually be a stepping stone to your next level.

Giants are temporary, but God’s word is eternal.

Therefore, confront your giants with confidence in God, you will overcome.

He that is in you is greater than He that is in the world.

Celebrate your victory in advance.

I love you!

Slothfulness is a quiet enemy of destiny.

It does not always look like rebellion; sometimes it appears as procrastination, excuses, fatigue, or “I will do it later.”

But, over time, slackness weakens discipline, reduces opportunities, and limits progress.

“Slack not our hands” means to avoid half-hearted effort and not being lazy, whether in spiritual life, studies, work, relationships, or ministry.

God honors and rewards diligence.

Great results are product of steady, intentional action.

For every elevation, excellence stardom, there are responsibilities that can not be substituted for anything, not even prayers.

Even spiritually, slacking in prayer, Bible study, and obedience weakens a believer’s strength.

A strong spiritual life is maintained through consistency, not occasional effort.

Every day of diligence is a seed for tomorrow’s testimony.

God is not asking for perfection, but He values faithful effort.

When you do your part diligently, He adds His grace and multiplication.

Refuse to be careless with your time, gifts, and assignments.

The life you desire is built through daily faithful action.

Do not slack your hand, stay committed, stay consistent, and stay faithful.

I pray for you today.

God’s promises will find expression in your life.

I rebuke the spirit of laziness in your life now.

You will get to your Rehoboth in Jesus name.

Have a great day and do enjoy the weekend!

Along the paths of those who are great and successful are traces of the prices they paid, discipline and hardship they endured.

Destinies are rarely fulfilled without making sacrifices.

No one arrives at stardom or gets to the peak without paying a price.

There is a price for every rise.

In Matthew 20:20–21, the mother of James and John wanted her sons to receive the highest positions of honour and authority in Christ's Kingdom, but Jesus made it clear that such a request comes with a price.

In verse 22, Jesus responded, "Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?"

Meaning, "Can you go through the suffering and discipline that I will pay before receiving glory?"

According to Philippians 2:9–11, it was after Jesus had paid the price, made the sacrifice and endured that He was lifted.

If you must fulfil God's purpose for your life, if you desire to be in a position of authority and influence, if you want to be relevant and impactful, if you desire to lead people, or people are praying for it.

It calls for a lot of sacrifice, obedience and determination.

You have to draw out a plan of stepwise actions, take bold steps and endure hardship if need be.

Get prepared!

Nothing is easy; life itself is not easy either.

Whenever you feel the pull between maintaining status quo and stepping into purpose, just remember, the glory ahead is worth the price you are to pay now.

I love you!

Today's Anchor Scripture: "You don't know what you are asking," Jesus said. "Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?" Mark 10:38

One of the temptations we are likely to face in the euphoria of success is forgetting the source of the success.

When people begin to prosper, they can gradually shift their dependence from God to their own abilities, connections, intelligence, or resources.

The Israelites experienced this temptation after entering the Promised Land.

In seasons of struggle, they cried out to God constantly, but when they became comfortable and prosperous, many forgot the One who delivered them.

Everything we have: strength, wisdom, favour, opportunities, and grace comes from God.

Remembering the Source keeps God's people humble, thankful, prayerful, and dependent on God regardless of achievement.

Believers must keep remembering not only where they came from, but Who brought them through.

True maturity is remaining faithful to God in both lack and abundance.

So, never allow success to replace your dependence on God.

Never let blessings make you forget the Blesser.

Your relationship with God should become deeper as He blesses you.

A tree remains standing because its roots stay connected to the source.

Remain connected to God through prayer, worship, obedience, and gratitude.

Those who never forget their Source will continue to receive strength for every new season.

God bless you.

Have a good day!

Many of those who gave up too soon are those who do not realize how close they were to their desired breakthroughs.

What we call breakthroughs often come after the toughest parts of the journey seem.

I have seen people abandon their dreams, prayers, and assignments because they became tired of struggling or repeated disappointments.

What a misfortune!

What a wrong decision!

The truth is; every journey of faith requires endurance.

Noah was a man like you. He started building the ark before he ever saw rain.

Joseph also remained faithful through betrayal and imprisonment before reaching the palace.

Jesus endured suffering before receiving the glory.

These are testaments to the fact that God honours those who wait and endure on their calling.

Thomas Edison's story resonates with today's topic.

While inventing the electric light bulb, he reportedly failed many times before arriving at a breakthrough.

His persistence reminds us that lasting success often follows consistent effort.

Spiritual growth happens quietly before it becomes visible.

God may be working behind the scenes in your life even when you cannot see immediate progress.

Are you at the verge of quitting or giving up?

I implore you today to have faith.

Just have a little more patience.

Don't let the devil mock you.

Don't allow your enemy to mock you.

You have started and kept moving forward one step at a time.

Your current situation may be preparing you for future greatness.

The God who started a good work in you is faithful to complete it.

You are the next testifier.

Stay lifted.

I love you.

“What do you want me to do for you?” is one of the most thoughtful and powerful questions Jesus asked in the Gospels.

Ordinarily, Jesus knew that Bartimaeus was blind, but when his noise became disturbing, He paused and asked him exactly what he wanted and the blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

This is the mystery of expectation.

Expectation is one of the forces that draws virtue from God.

It is an invisible link between the natural and the supernatural.

It is the mother of manifestations.

Interestingly, you can not be helped beyond your expectations.

Another thing you must know is that God works in proportion to the level of our expectations.

Throughout the scripture, people who approached God with faith and expectation got extraordinary results.

Now, come to think of it: if Jesus asked you today, “what do you want me to do for you?”

How would you answer?

Babbling?

Complaining?

Crying?

Confused?

No! At such crucial moment, you must go straight to the point or you miss out on that opportunity.

What are your expectations from God today?

Write them down, verbalize them on a daily basis and take practical steps of faith in preparation toward your expectations.

This is the mystery of expectation.

So, go, explore this mystery and it will turn in your direction for good.

God bless you.

You are lifted!

Everyone faces a “Jericho” at some point in life.

Jericho represents stubborn obstacles, impossible situations, limitations, persistent problems, fears, delays, and barriers that seem too strong to overcome.

For some people, their Jericho may be financial hardship.

For others, it may be sickness, failure, addiction, family conflict, or unanswered prayers.

The good news is that in as much as you can identify it, you can overcome it.

When the Israelites stood before Jericho, the city looked impossible to conquer.

The walls were massive, and human strength could not bring them down.

Yet, God gave them unusual instructions: march around the city silently for six days and shout on the seventh day.

It sounded simple, but obedience and faith brought down what seemed impossible.

Many times, God does not remove “our Jericho” immediately because He wants to build our faith, patience, and dependence on Him.

The walls may look intimidating, but God already knows how they will fall.

Our responsibility is to trust Him, obey His instructions, and remain persistent even when nothing seems to be changing.

So, pause now, and think deeply.

Can you identify what seems to be “Jericho” in every area of your life?

Now that you are able to identify them, you have demystified them.

Your Jericho may appear strong today, but God in you is stronger.

The same God who caused ancient walls to collapse can still break barriers in your life.

You cannot subdue this Jericho by your own strength.

You need an instruction of God on how to approach it.

So, seek God’s face for direction, and take steps forward.

Before you realize it, your wall of Jericho would have fallen, and you will have testimony.

No challenge is permanent when God is involved.

I love you.
