The Fourth Month, known as the fourth biblical month counting from Nisan, is referenced as such in Jeremiah 39:2 and Zechariah 8:19. This indicates that April is not the fourth month according to the divine calendar.

The Fourth Month consists of twenty-nine days and its New Moon appears between June and July in the secular calendar.

Numerous significant events have occurred during this month, historically referred to as Tammuz. One notable event was when Joshua prayed, and the sun stood still, while the moon ceased its movement, allowing the Israelites to achieve vengeance upon their enemies (Joshua 10:12-13). Another significant event is the fast observed during the fourth month, mentioned in Zechariah 8:19. This fast commemorates the breaking of the first tablets of stone by Moses upon descending from Mount Sinai, upon witnessing Israel worshipping the golden calf crafted by Aaron.

When we observe feasts and fasts with unwavering faith, true repentance, and hopeful hearts, the Lord showers us with overwhelming favor and blessings.

As the festival is proclaimed and performed from this evening, let us pray and hope for the end of plagues and afflictions from the past month, and may we all experience the miraculous blessings of victory, peace, and success in abundance from earth's four sides.
