Take the time today to seek God's hands concerning your family, marriage, finances, career etc.

Do not forget that "the right hand of God is glorious in power able to dash in pieces our enemy".

Your "enemy" can be untimely death, chronic illness, poverty, issues in marriage, failures, childlessnesse, lack of job etc.

Seek his hands in all you do today, and you will have his hands in everything that concerns you.

Whose hands do you commit your 2025, family, business and career into? The bible says"the right hand of God is glorious in power, able to dash in pieces our enemies. "
Your enemy can be poverty, etc.
Take it from your hands and put it in God'hands, and your miracle is
sure to come. David said "my times are in thy hands.
Even Jesus knew how powerful the father's hands are, he said" father into thy hands ,i commit my spirit. If you are not in God'shands, then whose hands are you?

ADOPTING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
-

by Cosmos Ekanem

A thankful person is a happy person! If we want to increase our joy, all we really need to do is think more about what we have to be grateful for. Sadly, it is easy to fall into the habit of thinking about what we want, what we don’t have, or what other people have that we wish we had. But that doesn’t please God, and it steals our joy.

God’s Word teaches that we should be anxious for nothing, but to pray about everything, with thanksgiving (see Philippians 4:6). I doubt that God has any interest in giving us more if we are already complaining about what we have or don’t have. It seems to me that the more thankful and appreciative we are for what God has already done for us, the more He would be inclined to do more.
Think of five things today you have to be thankful for and voice your gratitude to God.

Prayer Starter: Father, I am sorry for the times I’ve complained about my life. I am blessed, and I ask You to help me remember how good You are to me at all times. Thank You! In Jesus' name, amen.

COLOSSIANS 3:17

PUT IN YOUR ALL, BE COMMITTED

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

When the shepherd boy ran out to fight the giant, he called out to Goliath, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts…” (I Samuel 17:45).

David did not fight in his own strength but in the name of the Lord. Throughout Scripture, the name of our Lord carries weight, dominion, and power. There is something about that name!

In the name of Jesus, we believe and are saved. We are baptized in His name. We have life in that precious name. In His name, the disciples found boldness to preach and teach.

Even when they were beaten, imprisoned, and warned not to speak in the name of Jesus anymore, they continued to perform miracles and cast out demons in that name.

Colossians 3:17 encourages us to do everything – every word and every action – in the name of Jesus. When you open your mouth, speak in the name of Jesus – words that bring life. Do every small deed throughout the day in His name – a reflection of His love and an arrow that points back to Him.

When we operate in His name, all of His power and authority stand behind us. He is glorified. It changes us, and it changes those around us, too.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you submit every word and every deed to Jesus. May you operate in His name, so all His power and authority stand behind you. May your life point others to Him so that they find life in the name of Jesus too…amen.

WHEN WE’RE TEMPTED TO QUIT

FRIDAY JULY 30, 2021

James 1:2-12

Have you ever thought, I can’t take this anymore or I give up? These phrases have the power to change the direction of our life. Let’s look at three things that could cause these sentiments.

1. Satan and his angels. Through their involvement, we can be tempted to stop waiting on God for solutions and instead seek our own way out. Or the enemy may try to redirect our focus away from Jesus and onto our negative emotions. If he can make us feel helpless and hopeless, then he is successfully distracting us from God.

2. The world. Ungodly people are always ready to give believers advice. We need God’s wisdom to set ourselves apart from their thinking and yet stay connected enough to share God’s message of hope with them.

3. Our own flesh. We have a tendency to do what feels good and benefits us, but God’s way is always best and the most fulfilling.

If you have ever wanted to give up, you’ve probably been influenced by one or more of these factors. But God has good purpose for the trials He allows in our life: They produce perseverance that helps to mature us as Christians. When we look at things from that perspective, we can actually “consider it all joy” to have struggles (James1:2-4)

PRAYERS:
Dear LORD give me the strength to keep going
When its tough. Do not let me fall out of your will. When my faith is small, let your hands holds me dearly. Amen

JULY 29, 2021

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

— MATTHEW 5:13 (AMPC)

THE TIME WILL COME TO MOVE FORWARD

When Moses died, the Israelites mourned deeply over the loss of their leader. They wept for him for 30 days; then the days of mourning were ended.

I am not suggesting that the grieving process should only last 30 days. But I believe the principle behind this verse is important.

I think it is letting us know that eventually we have to move on. Sometimes the best thing you can do when you are hurting is to do something.

Find a place of new beginnings. Get up, get dressed, and keep moving. Go take a walk and talk to God. Do something for somebody else.

As you work through your grief, you may have times when you simply need to get your mind off of what you're going through because you have done everything you can do about it; there is nothing else you can do except wait for the full healing to come.

It is proper to grieve, but don't let a spirit of grief control your life. If you have been through a recent tragic loss, you may not be ready to go on yet. Know, though, that the time will come when you do need to get busy again.

It may not be easy, but it will be important to your healing. So, don't rush it, but when it comes, embrace it and trust the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort you as you move forward.

PRAYERS:

Father, no matter what I’ve lost, I still have a lot left, and You have a purpose yet to be fulfilled in my life. Thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen
