2026 Uyo Central District convention Grand finale!

Today marked a glorious and memorable Grand Finale of the District Convention, held at the District Headquarters, 37 Ewne Street, bringing together congregations across the three congregations of the district in a beautiful celebration of faith, unity, and fellowship.

One of the major highlights of the day was the Baptism and Confirmation of about 43 candidates, administered by His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Godwin Udosen, Bishop of the Uyo Diocese.

We also celebrate with great joy as 10 members of The Lutheran Church of Nigeria, Atan Offot Congregation, were among those confirmed today. Following their confirmation, they also received their First Holy Communion, officially taking their place as full members of the church and reaffirming their faith and commitment to Christ.

It was indeed a day filled with joy, thanksgiving, spiritual renewal, and celebration as we witnessed new commitments to Christ and welcomed believers into deeper fellowship with the Church.

We sincerely congratulate all the newly baptized and confirmed members. May the Holy Spirit strengthen you, guide you, and help you remain steadfast in the faith. May your journey with Christ continue to be fruitful and blessed.
