First Sunday in Lent
Topic: Justification by Faith in Christ
Text: Romans 4:1–8, 13–17

Today we were reminded that we are made righteous before God not by our works, but by our faith in Jesus Christ.
Using the example of Abraham, the Apostle Paul teaches that righteousness is credited to those who believe God. Abraham was not justified because of his deeds, but because he trusted God’s promise.
Salvation is not earned it is a gift of grace received through faith.
God justifies the ungodly who put their trust in Him. The promise is not based on the law, but on faith, so that it may be by grace and guaranteed to all who believe.

ASH WEDNESDAY – A CALL TO RETURN

“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:19
Today marks the beginning of the Lenten season a time of repentance, reflection, and renewal. As we receive the ashes, we are reminded of our need for God’s mercy and grace.
Let us humble ourselves before the Lord, seek His forgiveness, and draw closer to Him in prayer, fasting, and obedience.
Join us today as we begin this sacred journey toward the Cross and the Resurrection.

Transfiguration Sunday

Today’s service reminded us that the glory of Jesus Christ is not just a story, but a living reality.
As He was transfigured on the mountain before Peter, James, and John, may our lives also reflect His light and holiness.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in worship. May His glory rest upon you and your household this week.Amen

First Sunday of the year, and it was filled with praise, gratitude, and celebration. We thank God for a beautiful Choir Thanksgiving Service and for the choir’s generous presentation of a pulpit stand to the church.
We appreciate our choir for their dedication, unity, and continuous service in God’s vineyard. May this year bring greater anointing, harmony, and blessings upon them and the entire church family.
To God be all the glory! 🙌

HARVEST THANKSGIVING 2025
What a glorious day in God’s presence!

Today’s Harvest Thanksgiving was a beautiful celebration of God’s faithfulness, abundance, and grace!
Thank you to our choir, committees, youths, elders, Deaconesses and every member who made the service colourful and meaningful.
As we go into a new season, may God multiply every seed sown and crown our efforts with divine harvest. For the Scriptures says
“The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us.” – Psalm 67:6
We thank God for a wonderful Harvest Thanksgiving Service.

2025 Internal Convention Grand Finale.
To God Be the Glory! 🙌

What a glorious and spirit-filled conclusion to our 2025 Internal Convention!
From the opening session to the grand finale, God’s presence was evident in every moment, lives were touched, hearts were renewed, and the fire of revival was rekindled. 🔥

We were especially honored to have in our midst the Vice President of the Church His Lordship Rt Rev Raphael Aju, whose presence, prayers, and words of encouragement blessed us richly.

A heartfelt thank you to our leaders, guest ministers, choristers, ushers, media team, and every member who contributed to the success of this great event. Your dedication and service made it truly remarkable. 💪🏽
