(Seeing Each Other After A While)
Yesterday, Saturday 18th July, 2026, we gathered again to worship God.
It was an exciting reunion because since the devastating flood took place, we hadn’t worshipped together for a while, majorly due to concerns of the safety of our church building whose structural integrity had been compromised after the flood.
As we sought the face of the Lord, we took solace in His holy words. We were grateful that He spared our lives, and that none of us got carried away by the flood. Though our Church Pastor (with his Family), and many Corpers staying here at the Corpers lodge have been deeply affected (and have lost valuable properties), we will not be moved nor shaken.
We hold on to the promise in Psalms 46:1-3:
“God is Our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging”.
We are grateful for your kind wishes, sympathies and support to the church during these trying times. May God continue to bless you abundantly. 🙏🔥
