[19] Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” [20] When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. [21] So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
_Lead Apostle Oscar Kabanga was so happy to be received at New Apostolic Church, Ikot Akpa Congregation of Ikot Akpa District by the members, friends and ministers of the church_
Lead Apostle Oscar Kabanga in is message while opening the service showed gratitude and also welcomed everyone to the "House of Grace ".
He also urged us in his message to be fearless which he made and illustration using the disciples of Jesus Christ, how they locked themselves inside because of fear .
He summarize it to the motto of the year which is "Don't be afraid, just believe".
Apostle Emmanuel Armstrong Inyang was called to serve along and in brief he emphasis on open door, that we should always open our door for salvation and not to hide because our Lord Jesus wants us to be fear-free...
7 people were confirmed yesterday 3 girls and 4 boys to the authority and power as a full new Apostolic member and the parents were asked by the lead Apostle to keep on caring for them even after the confirmation...
The service ended graciously with the closing prayer and the choir warm the house with some melodious song which the lead Apostle commented on their good performance...
