RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

PASTOR CHRIS

REJOICE AND BE GRATEFUL

SUNDAY, APRIL 3RD

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready (Revelation 19:7).

True Christianity is living by faith in God’s Word, where you’re forever grateful and giving glory to God for His life in you. Your ability to express gratitude is key to your greatness. David was never ashamed or afraid to express his gratitude to the Lord openly. Many times, he expressed his gratitude in songs, and in psalms. No wonder he lived such a great life.

On a certain occasion, while I was meditating on the awesomeness of the Lord and thanking Him for all He’s done, I was drawn to one of the psalms of David, which is recorded in 1 Chronicles 16. It says, “Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren. Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people” (1 Chronicles 16:7-8). This is so beautiful.

When we realize all that the Lord has done for us in a world that’s gone so cruel and dark, and how He glorified Jesus in our lives in an extraordinary way, we can only be full of gratitude to Him. Don’t live like those who are blind to all the good things happening in and around them, for which they ought to be grateful.

The New International Version of our underlined portion of the opening verse says, “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory....” Always, we should praise the Lord, declaring that He’s the One who has given us victory over the world and its systems. He’s exalted the Name of Jesus in our lives, and through us, He spreads salvation to the world. Trust Him with your life and be full of gratitude to Him every day.

🔊PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me victory over the world and its systems, and imparting into my spirit the faith that conquers the world. You’ve exalted the Name of the Lord Jesus in my life, and through me, you’ve brought salvation to many. I’ll make known your deeds and the awesomeness of your power in my life. Thank you for your mercy and your love that’s new every morning! Your Name is praised and glorified forever in heaven and in all the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Good morning - _Christ Is Alive In Me_

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*

SATURDAY 2ND APRIL

*YOU WERE BORN A VICTOR*

📖===========
*Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).*

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
We read Revelation 12:10-11 in our previous study and noted that it referred to the Tribulation saints during the Great Tribulation period. It’s been written concerning them that they overcame through the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. The word translated “testimony” is “marturia” (Greek) and it means report, testimony, record, witness.

In our dispensation, we’re not trying or hoping to overcome Satan, demons and the antichrist spirits. No! It’s recorded concerning us that we’ve overcome them simply because of who we are, where we are, and the One who lives within us! We’re of God; that means we’re born of Him; we hail from Him and therefore one with Him.

Secondly, we’re in Christ, seated with Him in the realm of great glory, dominion and authority. Christ— the greater One—lives in us. The Bible says Christ in you the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). No wonder Jesus said, *_“Cheer up; I’ve overcome the world”_* (John 16:33). The One who already overcame them is inside you and you’re one with Him. As He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Hallelujah!

The events in the world today indicate that these are trying times. Many are disturbed, distraught and perplexed about their health, finances, jobs and businesses. But you’ve been called to live above and dominate this world. Let that be your constant contemplation and confession.

Every so often, you say, *“I’m born of God; I’ve overcome the world because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!”* Refuse to allow circumstances get you to think otherwise. You’re a victor in Christ Jesus. You were born that way. You’ve overcome the world and its systems, its failures, falsehoods, deceptions, corruption and corrupting influences. Glory to God!

*CONFESSION*
_Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world! Christ in me is my victory over the world. It therefore doesn’t matter the extent of the darkness or hardship in the world today; they’re opportunities for me to manifest the glory and righteousness of God. I live victoriously and triumphantly above sickness, disease, inflation and terror as I walk in God’s Word. Hallelujah!_

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*||1 John 5:4-5||* For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

*||1 Corinthians 15:57||* But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

*We trust you have been blessed by this devotional. We invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying thus:*

*Prayer of salvation*

_“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”_

*Dívíɳҽ 卄ealtɧ Cσnfҽssiσɳs April 1st, 2022*

The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead is alive in me. He is vitalizing every part of my body; repelling sickness, disease, infirmity, death, poverty, and anything that’s not of God from my life. I live my best every day, to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

* 1ST APRIL.*

I affirm that the grace of God is at work in me! Everywhere I go today, I’m accepted and highly favoured, for I carry God's divine presence with me. I have the grace-advantage; a lifting power that causes my life to move from glory to glory. Hallelujah! Daily, I manifest the graces, many-sided wisdom, and perfections of God, whose glory I am, and whose presence I carry to impact and beautify my world. Christ is alive in me; therefore, I am experiencing the reality of the Word in every area of my life.

The Word of God is living and active in me, and it is causing me to make progress on every side. Life circumstances are subdued to conform to the reality of God’s Word for my life. The Word has pre-eminence in my life, and it continually produces in me what it talks about. I am an heir of God; I was born into the presence of God. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Hallelujah! I will never walk in confusion because the Spirit of God is guiding me in the path of life and leading me in the way of supernatural success and permanent prosperity.

I make my way prosperous and consistently experience good success as I meditate on the Word and speak it forth with boldness. Hallelujah! I function today and always from the standpoint of advantage, victory, dominion, and power because I am born of God and conscious that whatever is born of God overcomes this world. I’m guided and propelled by His divine wisdom to do God's will and fulfil my destiny in Christ. Glory to God. Hallelujah!`

*WORSHIP THE LORD ALONE*

_(He Is The Risen King)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*Exodus 20:4*
_“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”_

*LET'S TALK*

We read in the Bible how that fiery serpents invaded the camp of the children of Israel, hurting and killing many of them in the process (Numbers 21:7-9). Then Moses prayed for mercy, and the Lord instructed him to make a serpent of brass, and set it upon a pole and said if anyone who had been bitten looked upon the brazen serpent, he would be healed.

Over the years, some people have had problems understanding this passage, particularly because of the Lord’s instruction in our opening verse. The following verse however explains that the instruction was against graven images made for worship. *“You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me”* (Exodus 20:5 AMPC).

God never asked the children of Israel to worship the brazen serpent; He only told them to look at it the same way He told Abraham to look at the stars; He didn’t tell him to worship the stars. The serpent was symbolic; it typified sin that was nailed on the cross. *“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life”* (John 3:14-15).

*GO DEEPER*
