_“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” *John 17:17*._

*MESSAGE*
All Christians have a sacred obligation to be students of truth. In fact, we are called not just to know the truth but to love it. It is truth — not mere knowledge, intelligence, or skill — that truly sets us free and makes us whole. Truth is not something light or casual; it carries a weight that demands reverence, humility, and obedience.

Knowledge and truth are not the same. Knowledge is something we can collect, store, control, and use. We can master knowledge and benefit from it. But the truth is different. Truth is not meant to be mastered by us; instead, it is meant to master us. Truth is not centred on self-interest; it is other-centred. It carries a moral force that calls us to change, align, and surrender.

Many people want to use truth, quote truth, and teach truth, but few are willing to bow to it. The real question is not whether we can explain truth or impress others with it, but whether we are willing to be ruled by it. Truth only sets free those who are prepared to yield to it.

When we surrender to God's truth, it shapes our decisions, purifies our motives, and redirects our lives. It is not comfortable, but it is transforming. Truth does not exist to serve us; we exist to serve it.

TACN Akwa Ibom Territory Inaugurates Reconstituted Youth Executive Committee

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering youth leadership and enhancing coordination within the denomination, The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), Akwa Ibom State Territory, has formally inaugurated its newly reconstituted Territorial Youth Executive Committee during the 2026 Territorial Youth Leadership Conference held at the Territorial Headquarters in Uyo.

The inauguration ceremony was officiated by the National Vice President and Territorial Chairman, Apostle E. U. Johnson, who enjoined the incoming leadership to discharge their duties with diligence, humility, and a profound sense of mission.

Characterising the occasion as both timely and visionary, the Territorial Chairman underscored that the reconstitution of the Executive Committee mirrors the dynamic shifts in youth leadership across the various Fields and underscores the imperative for robust coordination in advancing the overarching vision of the youth movement. He exhorted the new executives to remain steadfast in their spiritual walk, exemplify Christ-centred leadership, and cultivate unity, integrity, and moral uprightness, declaring that “leadership in God’s house is a sacred call to service, sacrifice, and accountability.” He further urged them to serve as exemplary role models for the young people throughout the Territory.

The reconstituted Territorial Youth Executive Committee is headed by the National/Territorial Youth Leader, Apostle Barr. S. B. Inyang, and comprises the following officers:

- Deputy Territorial Youth Leader I: Pastor Imo Udosen

- Deputy Territorial Youth Leader II: Apostle Otobong Eka

- Territorial Youth Secretary: Pastor Inemobong Usen
