I'M NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL.
Romans 1:14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Intro: In a World that is growing increasingly Hostile to the Gospel, Christians must never be ashamed nor afraid of the Gospel.
WE ARE DEBTORS FOR THE GOSPEL.
We owe God a debt of the gospel to an unbelieving world. Each time we pass over an unsaved soul or forfeits an opportunity to share the gospel, we increase our debt profile with the father. But many people shy away from preaching the gospel nowadays.
This is even when the Gospel is needed the most.
GOSPEL FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF MEN.
The Gospel is not for a selected few. Some people finds it difficult to preach to the enlightened and civilized. But the Gospel should be preached to the civilized and uncivilized, to the wise and the unwise, the rich and the poor, in the cities and the villages. Doctors, lawyers, directors, army generals, business top executives, wheelbarrow pushers, beggars etc all need the gospel.
NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL.
Many unsaved people are hostile to the Gospel, not of their own will, but the Devil fighting their liberation. But whether they are receptive or hostile, ours is to preach the Gospel. Those who accept it, we preach to them, those who resist it, we leave them to their choice.
THE POWER OF SALVATION
The Gospel is the only way to salvation. No other. Withholding it, is hiding eternal life from those who need it most. Sharing the Gospel with the unsaved is the best gift you can give them. No advise, gifts or help is better than sharing the Gospel with the unsaved.
Praying with or for people, delivering them, giving social service can't compare to a genuine gospel that lead to salvation.
FROM TO FAITH.
Faith beget faith. Someone preached the Gospel of faith to you and you were born again. Your faith should also give birth to faith in another. It's a network of faith. Don't break the chain. Share the light 🕯️ don't hide it Sir/Ma.
YOU MIGHT JUST BE THE LAST MESSENGER.
Many people are at the verge of Life, some are already contemplating surrendering to Jesus Christ, your message today could just be the last push they need. Some want to know about Jesus Christ and start going to church but don't know how.
Some are just plain shy, how to enter church on Sunday, just invite them.
HOW TO PREACH THE GOSPEL.
Many Christians today, pastors and Christian leaders inclusive don't preach the Gospel at all. Except in churches. But sinners don't go to church.
1. Preach in your neighborhood.
2. Preach to people you come in contact with, one - on - one.
3. Preach to your customers.
4. Preach on your social media handles.
5. Preach in the Buses.
6. Take the gospel to market places and street corners.
7. Selectively and prayerfully meet people directly in their homes/work/business places and preach to them.
8. Follow up those you have preached to.
9. Pray for all the unsaved within and outside your reach.
