THIS BURDEN WILL NOT LET US GO
God sent us on a one-month mobilization exercise, and we obeyed.
We walked into campuses and lesson centers across Enugu —
ESUT Agbani, ESUT Parklane, UNEC, IMT Enugu, USA Lesson center and several lesson centers where over 200 students sat at once listening to the Word of God.
And something happened.
Young people wept.
They opened up.
They cried for help.
They spoke about struggles they could not tell their parents.
Battles with sin.
Confusion.
Depression.
Broken homes.
Fear about their future.
And in those moments, the Gospel met them.
They were saved.
They were relieved.
They felt seen.
But then… our one month ended.
We packed our bags.
We left their spaces.
And our hearts were heavy.
Because as we drove away, one question kept ringing in our spirits:
“Who will walk with them after today?”
Jesus said,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)
We realized we had reached them, but we could not stay.
We had introduced them to Jesus, but we could not disciple them.
We had touched their pain, but we could not journey with them into maturity.
And that disappointment broke us.
Then God spoke clearly:
“Raise a place. Stay. Shepherd them.”
Now, the Lord has sent us to plant a campus church at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
One Sound Worship Center will be a spiritual home —
not just where students get saved,
but where they are pastored, discipled, heard, and raised.
The Scripture says,
“And the things you have heard from me… commit to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2)
To do this, we are trusting God for ₦10,000,000 to set up this campus ministry.
This is not about a project.
It is about responsibility.
It is about refusing to leave hungry souls without covering.
We cannot forget their tears.
We cannot ignore their cries.
And we cannot pretend one month was enough.
If God places this burden on your heart, we invite you to sow into this vision.
Your seed will help turn short encounters into lifelong transformation.
“One generation shall praise Your works to another.” (Psalm 145:4)
Help us stay.
Help us shepherd.
Help us raise a generation for Jesus. 🙏
