TOPIC: A WORD FORM THE LORD
TEXT: 1king 13:1-20
Let me start by saying there are two things that will determine the event that will happen in a man's life , what is guilding his actions and what is defending his actions.
So many have not been able to find Gods word for there life's and destiny, some run or work with other people's word intending it is from God.
A word from God can end the battles of your life
A word from God can end the confusion
A word from God can settle your destiny
A word from God can redirect your footsteps towards fulfilling destiny
A word from God is what you need to change level in destiny
A word from the lord is superior than any word that comes from any man
But some has chosen to follow words from man and abandon what God is saying which will lead to the crash of there destiny.
In where we read in 1 kings 13:1-20, a certain young prophet was run his life with the word of the lord and he was doing perfectly well, having strange manifestation of power backing his calling until another person decided to hear God for him which lead to his death and not fulfilling of destiny.
Any day other begins to hear God for you, be rest assured that you might be ending your journey towards greatness because so many that clams they hear God is not hearing from God and are busy misleading people and their destiny.
You must understand that the word of God can't lie, in mark 13 vs 31 the bible declear that instead the word of God not to come to pass, heaven and earth with pass away,
Isaiah 40:8 says the grass withereth, the flower fadeth but the word of our God shall stand for ever
He does not change his words just like that, you must learn how to trust his words so much if you must fulfil destiny.
In Matthew 14 vs 28, Peter said to Jesus lord if it be thou,bid me come unto thee on the water, and Jesus said come, that was all Peter needed to walk upon the sea, until he removed his mind and assurance from the word of Christ, that was when he begain to sink before Jesus held him,and he did walk again.
Let me say this to you that the reason you have not gotten that miracle yet is because you have abandon the word of God and u are running with another man's word for his life.
HOW TO HAVE A WORD FROM GOD
1) LEARN HOW TO HEAR HIS VOICE: You must understand that some times God will not speak to you audible in your ears, you might not hear a very loud voice in your ears, but God most times God speaks to our inner man, been the ears of the mind and spirits.your ability to pay attention to your spirit after asking God questions will give you the opportunity to hear from God, and not depending on other as to hear from your God.
2) THROUGH A TESTED AND ACCURATE PROPHET:
In this our generation now, every one is a prophet and every one prophesy, when ever you meet them they must tell you something because the believe the prophetic ministry is more lucrative than the other, before believing or working with the word of a prophet as regarding serious issues and matters of your life, check his track record, how many of his prophecies are accurate and has come to pass, believing on someone that has not traceable track record is like following a person who doesn't know where he or she is going to.
3) THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE WORD OF GOD.
Most times God speaks to us through his words, most of the times you are might be expecting God to speak to your ears, he is saying I want to speak to you through my written words the ( logo)
If you want to hear Gods word constantly make reading of his a habit and u will always hear him.
4) THROUGH INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Intimacy with the holy spirit is one thing that will guarantee you constant word from God, built a relationship with the holy spirit and enjoy his ministry as he will keep on reveling Gods word and plan for you.
