The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“He who plays backgammon disobeys Allah and His Apostle.” — Sunan Abi Dawud (Hadith 4938, Sahih)

Our time on this earth is a sacred trust. Islam encourages rest and lawful recreation, but guides us away from games rooted in pure chance and wasted hours.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Be merciful to those on the earth, and the One in the Heavens will have mercy upon you.” — Jami' at-Tirmidhi (Hadith 1924, Sahih)

Mercy is a two-way street. When we show compassion, kindness, and gentleness to the people and creation around us, Allah opens the gates of His mercy for us.

“Indeed a man may utter a statement that he does not see any harm in, but for which he will fall seventy autumns in the Fire.” — Jami' at-Tirmidhi (Hadith 2314)

A single careless word spoken without thinking can carry immense weight. Islam teaches us to guard our speech with mindfulness and care.

The grave is our first step into the afterlife. For the believer, it becomes a place of peace and rest, but for the wrongdoer, a place of trial.
