A good relationship is when two people
accept each other’s past, support each
other’s present, and love each other
enough to encourage each other’s future.
So don’t rush love. Find a partner who
encourages you to grow, who won’t cling
to you, who will let you go out into the
world, and trust that you will come back.
This is what true love is all about, and it’s
always worth the wait.

WHAT A GOOD MOTHER TOLD HER
DAUGHTER ON HER WEDDING DAY

The best woman a man can have in his life
is a wife who is not promiscuous and knows
God truly. The best person a lady needs
when she's getting married is a mum who's
a virtuous woman. Read below:

My beautiful daughter, you are now a wife
and soon you’ll be become a mother too.
God bear me witness that I taught you how
to cook and do other house chores. I taught
you to respect your man and to explain your
anger to him when necessary but if you do
otherwise, I know you, not as a daughter but
as my fellow woman.

My daughter, you see this your husband?
You have told me that he is a gentleman,
but don’t take advantage of that. Don’t bring
out the beast in him...

My daughter, you see this mark on my
forehead? Your father gave it to me. He
tolerated me every time but on that day, he
came unexpectedly. It wasn’t his intention
but i dared him and he hit hard.

My daughter, men hate it when you use the
word “YOU CAN’T DO IT”. He sure can do
more than but he’s just protecting you from
harm. My daughter, whenever there is an
argument or misunderstanding, try drinking
water. You can’t talk when you have water
in your mouth.

Now, you have two families.You are very
lucky. Tolerate and appreciate them just as
you did here. Learn to welcome other
people’s kids and soon, children will
surround your table with love.

You see that my big pot? I bought it when I
still had no child but I always cooked with it
to feed children who had nothing to eat.
Learn to show hospitality. Welcome a visitor
and at least, offer a glass of water. Don’t
discriminate.

Don’t shatter your husband’s family. Instead,
bring them together. Learn to appreciate
little efforts and soon, they’ll learn to do
more.

Today, you are wearing a wedding gown and
you look so beautiful in it but there is still
another gown you need to wear. That is the
MATERNITY gown. I wore it and you shall
wear your’s too.

When you have a misunderstanding, don’t
come back here. Sort things out and build a
happy home. I built mine and your father
enjoyed me.

If the ones I taught you are not enough,
learn more for the good of your marriage
and peace in your home!

Keep Your Marriage Simple and Sweet:
Many spouses complicate their marriages by
trying to compete or keep up with friends
and neighbors. They end up buying things
they don’t need with the money they don’t
have in order to impress people they don’t
know.
Keep your marriage simple and sweet; don’t
pretend to be what you are not. Don’t put
unnecessary pressures on your marriage
and don’t sacrifice your marital happiness
just to keep up appearances. Don't buy
things you don't really need just because
your friends have them.
Live within your means. Budget together
with your spouse; plan, prioritize and have
the maturity, discipline and temperance to
follow your plans regardless of what your
neighbors and friends are doing. It takes lots
of lies, stress and debt to support a fake
lifestyle.
Happy marriages are simple, honest and
straightforward - marriages that impresses
God, not people.
