THERE IS INCREDIBLE POWER IN TITHING
Tithing is not about making God richer—He already owns everything (Psalm 24:1). Tithing is about making our hearts surrender to the One who is our true Provider. Every time you faithfully give back to God, you declare that your trust is not in your paycheck, your business, your bank account, or the economy, but in the Lord alone.
The power of tithing is not found in the money itself; it is found in the God who honors faithful obedience. A tither may face financial challenges, difficult seasons, and unexpected needs, but God's promise remains: He is faithful to provide according to His perfect will. Obedience always invites God's blessing, even when we cannot immediately see the results.
Tithing also protects our hearts from greed. It reminds us that every blessing comes from God and that we are only stewards of what He has entrusted to us. A generous heart reflects a heart that trusts God completely.
God does not ask us to give because He lacks resources. He asks us to give because He desires our faith, our obedience, and our love. When we honor Him with the firstfruits of our increase, we acknowledge His lordship over every area of our lives.
If you are a faithful tither, do not become discouraged. Continue honoring God even when circumstances are difficult. His timing is perfect, His promises are sure, and His provision never fails. Your obedience is never wasted in the hands of a faithful God.
Bible Verses (KJV):
Malachi 3:10
> "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
Proverbs 3:9–10
> "Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine."
2 Corinthians 9:6–8
> "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully... And God is able to make all grace abound toward you..."
Luke 6:38
"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over..."
Philippians 4:19
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
"When God has your heart, He has your trust. When He has your trust, giving becomes an act of worship—not a burden. There is incredible power in tithing because it teaches us to depend on the God whose resources never run out."
