Beloved, we bless God for another time in His Presence via today’s Word. The hand of the LORD is with you and you will not see evil, in the name of Jesus. What you hear affects how you behave, and how you behave affects what you become. Many people today are polluted because of what they hear. From our today’s focal scripture, the truth you know that is what sets you free.
The worst form of bo***ge is the MIND BO***GE, until your mind is renewed by the truth of God’s word, your life will not be transformed.
WHAT TRUTH DO I NEED TO HEAR AND KNOW?

-The truth about who you are in God, you are God’s residential address here on earth, you are heaven’s representative and as such, God doesn’t play with you. You are His jewel (Malachi 3:17).

-The truth about your freedom, you are not in bo***ge anymore because of the sacrifice He gave for you. Romans 8:1

-The truth that you are healed, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, sickness, disease and infirmity is not a punishment from God, it is a weapon of the enemy to hinder your glorious life in Christ.

-The truth that you are not barren of good things, Exodus 23:25-26, Psalms 84:11.

_You are not at the mercy of the devil, you are the one in charge of the Earth realm-Psalms 115:16, it's what you say here that stands and not the enemy

Have the Understanding of the truth about you makes you know what is given to you by God and helps you to stand your grounds to reject evil around you.

I warmly welcome you into another time in the Presence of God via today’s Word encounter; nothing is permitted to go wrong in your life this season, in the name of Jesus. The application of wisdom is the escape route from shame and disaster. There are many evil that you will deliver yourself from, if only you will apply your heart to wisdom. You must understand that not everywhere you see people, especially those that open their teeth to you, is good for you.
Which place should I be? What kind of people should I be close to? Which church should
I belong to?

-Those (the place) that heals you. When we talk about healing here, we do not mean of physical and body illness but healing of the heart (because of the way you were treated by some fellows) we mean healing from emotional wreck. Did you know that any time someone speaks a negative word to you, or you hear a gossip about you, it hurts? So since it hurts, you don’t need to be around everyone you see or go to anywhere that is open or places you see people go to, you must choose the place where you are healed from the hurt of the past.

-The place (and people) that inspires you. When you understand the destiny you came to fulfill, you will know that not everyone, not everywhere and everything should inspire you. What inspires you has a lot to do with your outcome in life. Anyone not carrying the fire that puts you on, and that makes you want to look for the devil and tear him apart, should be avoided.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
Father, order my steps alright to meet with things, people that will help me actualize the destiny You have for me, in Jesus’ name.

HOW TO PLACE VALUE ON YOURSELF…. PT. 2

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: I TIMOTHY 4:11-16

MEMORY VERSE: 2 TIMOTHY 2:15

The value you place on yourself determines how people will value you, and when you don’t have or place value on yourself, you will add value to nothing. How do you know what is valuable? Answer, by the number of people trooping in for it. You become a person of value by what you offer and how you carry yourself. Having said this, how then do I place value on myself?
-Develop yourself, no matter who doesn’t value you or how they take you, the best revenge to people who do not value you or persons who claim you worth nothing is development of self. Refuse to be or remain how they left you, improve on yourself to the point that the self transformation will humble them. If you ask me, I will tell you that the reason the brothers of Joseph in the book of Genesis couldn’t recognize him was because, Joseph improved on himself. When you develop and improve on yourself, you become a wonder to many and those that refused to value you in the past, will be the one to promote you.

-Refuse to act when you are angry. One of the ways to place value on yourself is refusing to act when people are expecting you to react or retaliate. That is, become unpredictable by men, what they think will make you react is what you laugh about; but what they feel won’t bother you in what you act on.

-Limit the rate with which you attend occasions, you must not attend every burial, weddings, birthday parties, you can send you envelopes. Learn to be scarce somethings (hope it made sense).

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
-Father, thank YOU for today’s word, help me to live by it, in Jesus’ name.
-O LORD, Your have my permission, work on me until I become all that YOU want me to be, in Jesus’ name.

HOW TO PLACE VALUE ON YOURSELF

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: I TIMOTHY 4:11-16

MEMORY VERSE: ISAIAH 60:15

Beloved, welcome to another time in God’s Presence, you will not see shame this season, ember month disaster is far from you, in the name of Jesus. You are a creature of value, your kind is not in this world, God took His time to uniquely packaged you to this earth to be a blessing to those that will accept it. Understand you were not created to be around everyone. There are people that your existence is a threat to and there are people that your existence will add value to. Having an understanding of this will make you not to attach yourself to people that have little or no value for you.

The gift, virtue and potential you have, there is someone somewhere that will value it, don’t allow sentiment to rub you of your glorious destiny.
But Pastor Deborah, how do I place value on myself?

-Don’t go, visit anyone that didn’t invite you, frequenting people’s house, office even if the person is your blood relative, it will make them speak to you as they want, even Proverbs 25;17 advices us to do it. that is, go where you are needed and not where you want to or where you are tolerated.

-Set boundaries in your relationship with people, don’t tell people everything about yourself.

If you are not called into any discussion, don’t give your contributions. Your contributions is a “gold mine”, people are being paid for their contributions, don’t waste yours.

Beloved, don’t disvalue yourself and don’t let anyone do that.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
LORD, I love the way YOU created me,help me to live every day celebrating the person You made me to be in Jesus name.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 21

WALKING IN AUTHORITY.

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: LUKE 15:22 (KJV)

“But the father said to his servants, bring forth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet”.

MEMORY VERSE: ISAIAH 61:3

No good father or mother would want his/her child to become a nonentity or even be stranded in life. Every good father or mother would want the best for their children and Luke 11:13 says “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children. How much more shall your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?” God wants the best for you and I and He wants you to walk in authority, so that you don’t live at the mercy of the enemy. I think the reason Jesus endured the cross and went into the earth, stayed for three days was because of what the devil told him in Luke 4:6 and when He resurected from the dead, the first thing HE said to His disciples was “… ALL POWER HAS BEEN GIVEN UNTO ME” (see Matthew 28:18).

The use of ring in the Bible times was associated with authority. There are two quick examples that we can refer to as examples. After Joseph interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh, the king gave his ring to Joseph (see Genesis 41:41-42) “see, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt, then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand: and he clothed him in garments of fine linen…”. Another example is in the book of Esther, when God intervened, Haman’s plan was exposed and later was killed. The next was that the king removed the signet ring that he formerly gave Haman and gave it to Mordecai, from then, Mordecai became a man of authority.

From our today's focal scripture, one of the things that the prodigal son was attired with when he returned home was a ring. It was designed to bring him back to authority, which he lost when he walked away from his father.

What is God saying to you now? For you to walk in authority, you must first wear the garment of righteousness, righteousness is what enables you to walk in authority, that means, it is the right living that makes God to endorse you to display authority in His stead. Both the prodigal son ,Joseph and Mordecai had a new robe before the ring was giving to them. You can’t wear the old and enter into the new that God has for you.

PROPHETIC PRAYER
LORD, help me to always have a right standing with You, I refuse to walk in unrighteousness.in the Name of Jesus Christ.

BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF - PT 2

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: 2 CORINTHIANS 10:12 (KJV)

"For we dare not make ourselves of the number or compare ourselves with commend themselves, by they measuring themselves by themselves, and themselves among themselves are not wise”.

MEMORY VERSE: PSALMS 139:14

When a man does not recognize his value, he will end up living in defeat. You don't get your value from what you look like, you don't get your value from what you can or cannot do, rather you get your value from who your maker is and who He has made you to be. The problem with a lot of people is that they waste their time looking for who will complement and approve them and failure to get this complement and approval can ruin their whole day. If God Himself has complemented you, you don’t need any other complement, God Himself said it in our memory verse that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, what a great complement.

Do you know that the enemy doesn't want you to be happy that is why though you do every other thing right, one mistake you made will continue to ring over and over in your mind. That you made a mistake or failed the other day does not make you a failure. Failure is a mindset which you must resist. Stop acknowledging the things you didn't do right, focus on the things you did right. Do not have a negative mindset towards yourself. Like God, look back at what you have done and said to yourself ‘it is good’, you are on a process. You are not yet perfect, God is still working on you, so don’t let negative comments ruin you day. Don’t allow people and their opinion control you. If you are going to be happy with yourself, you must see yourself the way God sees you. God says you are beautiful, he says you are not average, you are not a failure, you are not a mediocre. You are God’s image. You are extremely important and valuable. The bible is filled with what God says concerning you, study it daily to discover them.

Believe God not men. Do not get yourself disturbed with what everybody is saying concerning you. Do not live life to please people rather live your life to please God. Do not live another person’s life in a bid to please people. As long as you can be yourself and do what God created you to do, you don’t need anyone’s evaluation.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS:
-LORD, thank You for making me in Your image and likeness
-LORD, let Your nature in me be activated in Jesus’ Name
-Any power that does not want me to fulfill my destiny in life be paralysed in Jesus’ Name
-I command every platform which the enemy is standing to attack my life to be destroyed now in Jesus’ Name
-Any altar that is sponsoring affliction, shame, frustration in my life, be consumed by fire in Jesus' Name.

Welcome to today's devotional encounter child of God. I want you to know that God on purpose made you the way you are, and if you want to be happy in life, you must accept yourself, you must learn how to admire yourself because if you fail to admire yourself, nobody will admire you. God went a great length to design you. You need to see yourself as unique, as original as God’s masterpiece.

Most times, people wish they are different from whom God made them. They wish they are taller, than they are, some wish they have different personality and as a result, they abandon their own life and begin to live other peoples life. If God wanted you to be taller, HE would have made you like that, if HE wanted you to be something different from what you are, HE would have made it.

Accept whom God made you to be, nothing is wrong with you. You are just okay the way you are. God can’t afford to make mistake. He did not make mistake when He was creating you. God created you exactly the way He wants you to be and He gave you exactly what you need to fulfill His purpose for your life. You can’t fulfill purpose if you go about imitating people. Live the life God brought you here for, if you leave what God called you to do and start doing what God called someone else to do, God won't back you up because you are not walking in your destiny path but in another person’s destiny path. If you don't appreciate yourself, you won’t appreciate God. Learn to get along with yourself so that you can get along with others. stop measuring and comparing yourself with others. Do not struggle to be like someone else. You are not here to compete with anyone. If there is anyone you must compete with that should be yourself. There are potentials locked up in you that are waiting to be activated, there is something you are carrying that will bless people. You are a gift to this generation. LOVE YOURSELF THE YOU ARE.

THE FORCE THAT MOVES YOU FORWARD

FOCUS SCRIPTURE: EXODUS 14:16 (TLB)

Use your Rod - hold it out over the water, and the sea will open up a path before you, and all the people of Israel shall walk through on dry ground.

MEMORY VERSE: EXODUS 4; 17

A hand that is empty of rod can’t do much in life let alone go forward. I have said that your success in life solely depends on you, what you know and also what you do with what you carry. For forty years, Moses didn’t know that the rod in his hands was so powerful to divide the red sea.

WHAT IS A ROD?
Micah 7:14 says ‘‘Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage...” so a rod is something you can feed from, the meaning of that is, a rod is a food of the spirit which is the WORD OF GOD, so there is a level of the WORD OF GOD you feed on and you become too fat for any devil to stop you or push you around. Isaiah 10:27 (Amplified Version). “And it shall be in that day that the burden of (the Assyrian) shall depart from your shoulders, and his yoke from you neck. The yoke shall be destroyed because of FATNESS (which prevents it from going around your neck)’. So what you feed on makes you fat or thin.

The rod is something to hear, Micah 6:9 “...hear ye the rod," so your going forward in life is determined by what you hear Romans 10:17, “faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God” (Paraphrased). Beloved, what you feed on and what you hear determines your going forward. Joshua 1:8 shows us that without the WORD OF GOD, you can’t have good success.

Beloved, God have hid His will and strength in His word. In Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”, so the word of God is what handles every darkness (John 1:1-5). The word of God is what handles every limitation (Exodus 14:16). The word of God terminates every delay, so take the word, feed on the word, study the word and hear the word, God bless you.

PROPHETIC PRAYERS
-Refuse to stay a day without studying the word of God
-LORD, let Your word speak to me, all the time, in Jesus’ Name
-Every darkness around me now, light of God’s word, terminate it, in Jesus’ Name.
