TOPIC: The Necessity Of Understanding The Times
SCRIPTURE: “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” – 1 Chronicles 12:32.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A good understanding of the times puts you in command of the affairs of life.
MESSAGE:
I welcome you to the third month of the year, 2025, our year of Dominion!
I decree that in this month, you shall exercise all-round dominion in all areas of your life, in Jesus’ Name.
The Scripture makes it clear that having a good understanding of the times is a pathway to dominion and authority. To rule in your world, you must have an understanding of the times and seasons of life. To maximize your current season, you need to understand what is happening at the moment. You need to understand God’s timing for your life, that is, God’s timing for what He wants you to do per time. This was the testimony of the sons of Issachar.
1 Chronicles 12:32 says,
“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”
A good understanding of the times puts you in command of the affairs of life. Knowing what season we are in, and understanding what God wants to do in your life puts you in charge.
On the other hand, the lack of understanding of the times places you in captivity.
Jesus wept because the people did not understand the times.
Luke 19:41-44 says,
“And when He was come near, He beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! But now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about
