Topic: Inauguration of 14th Yak Coy, PCN Ntamkpo Parish Ugep

I write to inform all company captains, secretaries, officer's and Patrons that the inauguration of 14th Yakurr company attached to the PCN NTAMKPO Parish will be held on Sunday the 4th day of December 2022 by 9am.

All Captain's, Officer's, Staff Sergent's, Boys and Patrons are reminded to attend in their clean Brigade Uniform.

Captains and officer's are to arrive before 0830hrs to enable us match in the colours immediately after procession please.

We shall continue to work together for the growth of Yakurr Battalion Council, Cross River State Council and indeed National Council.

Calvary greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has redeem us from darkness into light,may His name be praise for evermore,Amen.
On behalf of the State President of Boys'Brigade, Nigeria, Cross River State Council,I salute your courage and dexterity as we collectively mark the 139 Founder's Day celebration in Cross River State Council.
As we are all aware,Boys Brigade is an international,interdenominational,first Christian uniform Youth Organization whose primary functions is aimed at propagating the gospel of Christ to all nooks and corners of the society through aggressive evangelism, transforming the mindset of Youths towards the knowledge of Christ, training and development of Boys to manhood, instilling Discipline and core values in members towards self_ actualization and upholding and maintaining Christian doctrine in all ramifications.
As we celebrate our Founder's Day,let us remember our Youths who are still lavishing in iniquity, those frustrated, confused, those in bitterness,those who are presently homeless as a result of flood, kidnapping,bandatry,tribal and ethic crisis.
We must not lose focus on the vision and mission of the Founder of Boys'Brigade,as we change formation,let us maintain direction in all ramifications,we must evangelize and win souls for Christ, remembering always to commit our Country Nigeria in prayers for the smooth conduct of next year's elections, praying for stability in governance at all levels, praying for our Church leadership at various Denominations and peace in all parts of the Country.
Our Theme for 2022/2023 is ENDURE TILL THE END.Matt 24:13. No matter the trials and persecutions facing us presently in various ways,as Soldiers of Christ,we must endure till the end by remembering the hymn"Will your Anchor holds in the storms of life"
Finally,let us uphold the tenets and principles of the Organization while praying for the Founder,Sir William Alexander Smith and all our fallen heroes,may their gentle souls rest in peace,Amen.

On behalf of the National President of The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria, Prof. Engr. Samson Duna, I greet you all in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today marks another turning point and increase in the life and history of The Boys' Brigade globally. Today, THE BOYS' BRIGADE is CELEBRATING 139 YEARS of existence.

I urge us to celebrate in the Will of God and to the Glory of His Holy Name.

We give thanks to the Most High God for sustaining this organization till this day and for making the organisation a life transformer.

Permit me to use this medium to congratulate our dear Nation; Nigeria for CELEBRATING her 62nd Independence. It is and it will be well with Nigeria in Jesus name. Amen

As we celebrate The Boys' Brigade at 139, let us remember the youth who are still lavishing in iniquity; who are frustrated, confused, in pains and/or are filled with bitterness, etc. We must not forget our role of Evangelism, that is, soul winning. We must not be tired of doing the Master's job of winning souls in Jesus name. Amen.

Let us also pray for PEACE & UNITY for our Country, Nigeria and globally.

As you are already aware, The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria, had a change of leadership recently. It is only a change in formation while maintaining its lofty Direction ... the Parade is still on. May God give our leaders the needed wisdom and strength to discharge their responsibilities faithfully.

We pray for peaceful continuity in The Boys' Brigade as we "ENDURE TILL THE END" Mathew 24:13, which is, the theme for 2022/2023.

In the journey of life, no matter the trials, no matter the persecutions, as Soldiers of Christ we must endure till the end always by remembering the hymn; Will your Anchor hold in the storms of life...

Lastly, we pray for the Founder; Sir William Alexander Smith and all other fallen heroes who faithfully served this noble organization for their gentle souls to rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen.
