5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

MESSAGE:
Wisdom is a prerequisite for success. According to one dictionary, it is defined as the quality of having experience, knowledge, or good judgment. No wonder King Solomon asked for wisdom when God told him to request anything; he knew that he would not make good judgements without wisdom.

My dear child, you need wisdom to excel in your academics and in life. Do you know that a student can study so hard for an examination and still end up failing? This is because only wisdom can guide him or her to answer examination questions accurately. You can become the best by asking God to grant you wisdom; He gives liberally, so He will answer you. God has the best wisdom tips for success in every aspect of life.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, please endow me with wisdom today.

*THE WORD OF GOD*

1.Father, thank You for the power in Your word; quick and powerful,and sharper than any two-edged sword: a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2.Father, please help me to keep Your word in my heart, that in the midst of darkness, I will walk in the light, and not stumble all the days of my life, in Jesus' name.

3.Father, please let Your light brighten my path and guide me through every area of my life, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please help me to stay sanctified in the truth of Your word; rather than staring at man's report about me, help me to stay focused on Your promises in Your word, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, I reject any negative report concerning my health, for You promised I am healed by Your stripes; I therefore speak healings and complete restoration of my health for my body, soul and spirit, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please revive me according to Your word, teach me Your statues, and make me understand the ways of Your precept, so I can meditate on Your wondrous works, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, Your word is living, active and sharper than any two-edged sword. By Your word, let every good thing that is considered dead around me, come alive now; let my work and business receive a life-changing breakthrough, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please reveal to me things that are hidden from ordinary eyes, open my spiritual eyes and unveil Your promises for my life by the power of Your word, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, when the storms arises against me, please fill my heart with Your word, and let Your peace swallow up my troubles, in Jesus name.

10.Father, help me to study the word continuously, to believe it wholeheartedly, to meditate on it, and to apply it in my daily life, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of his life.

Don't let Your word depart from his mouth; bless his home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus name

12.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus name.

13.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus name.

15. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

16. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

17. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

18. He said, Bring them hither to me.

19. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

20. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

21. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

*MESSAGE:*

Many years ago, I was sitting in my living room when I noticed that my children seemed to be having a meeting in another room. Before long, the youngest came to me and asked, “Daddy, what would you like to have as a present?” I told him I wanted a plane; he reported this to his siblings and they sent him back to ask for what they could afford to buy. I told him and he went back. His siblings sent him back to me again to ask for money to buy the present. They were asking me for money to buy a gift for me. They weren’t working at the time and they depended on me for provision. Their intention to give me a gift was followed by the provision to bring it to reality.

Don't you just love Paul's way of making everything sound incomprehensible! Today I feel like that and have been working hard to see what he might mean. I wish I was in a group working together to see what we could come up with. I get the first part in that the early books of the Old Testament – those once thought to be written by Moses – are still being read today by all Jewish people as this is the Torah, the most sacred of their Scriptures, but without understanding that these were written to lead them to see Jesus as the Messiah. Christians reading them today see this promise fulfilled in Jesus the Christ. When we live in Christ we are living by the Spirit and living in this way brings freedom because we are living by the law of love which contains all of the commandments given to Moses. I believe that Paul is trying to tell us that we can see the glory of God reflected in our faces and in the faces of other Christians who are doing their best to follow the way of Christ in love. There are people who I have known over the years whose faces literally shine when they speak of their love of Jesus. When I am with them, I truly feel that I am looking at the living face of God. I can only hope that my life is also a witness to my love of God so that others can see God in me.

Proverbs 30:8 “O my God, be not far from me.” —Psalm 38:21 Here we have two great lessons—what to deprecate and what to supplicate. The happiest state of a Christian is the holiest state. As there is the most heat nearest to the sun, so there is the most happiness nearest to Christ. No Christian enjoys comfort when his eyes are fixed on vanity—he finds no satisfaction unless his soul is quickened in the ways of God. The world may win happiness elsewhere, but he cannot. I do not blame ungodly men for rushing to their pleasures. Why should I? Let them have their fill. That is all they have to enjoy. A converted wife who despaired of her husband was always very kind to him, for she said, “I fear that this is the only world in which he will be happy, and therefore I have made up my mind to make him as happy as I can in it.” Christians must seek their delights in a higher sphere than the insipid frivolities or sinful enjoyments of the world. Vain pursuits are dangerous to renewed souls. We have heard of a philosopher who, while he looked up to the stars, fell into a pit; but how deeply do they fall who look down. Their fall is fatal. No Christian is safe when his soul is slothful, and his God is far from him. Every Christian is always safe as to the great matter of his standing in Christ, but he is not safe as regards his experience in holiness, and communion with Jesus in this life. Satan does not often attack a Christian who is living near to God. It is when the Christian departs from his God, becomes spiritually starved, and endeavours to feed on vanities, that the devil discovers his vantage hour. He may sometimes stand foot to foot with the child of God who is active in his Master’s service, but the battle is generally short: he who slips as he goes down into the Valley of Humiliation, every time he takes a false step invites Apollyon to assail him. O for grace to walk humbly with our God!
