RCCN BIKA BABBA FARMERS' DAY SUNDAY SERVICE REPORT

RCCN Bika Babba celebrated its Farmers' Day Thanksgiving Service with a special and inspiring message delivered by HRH Pst. Godson D. Wasa.

Text: Daniel 1:8

The preacher encouraged the congregation to remain faithful to God regardless of their environment or circumstances. Taking lessons from the life of Daniel, he explained that believers may find themselves living in places surrounded by ungodly influences, but they must refuse to allow such influences to control their faith and relationship with God.

He emphasized that:

Babylon was a very wicked place, yet Daniel lived there without compromising his faith in God.

Believers may be in a particular geographical location, but they must not allow the negative lifestyle and influences of that environment to control them.

Just as Daniel and his companions remained committed to God in Babylon, Christians today must stand firm in righteousness wherever they find themselves.

The congregation was therefore challenged to live a life of faithfulness, holiness, and total commitment to God, remembering that we can live in the world without becoming like the world.

The Farmers' Day celebration was a moment of thanksgiving to God for His provision, blessings, and the work of the hands of His people.

🕊️ FUNERAL SERVICE OF LATE MR. BALA S. YAKUBU HELD AT RCCN BIKA BABBA

The funeral service of Late Mr. Bala S. Yakubu of Mbaeyesun Akatso, Bika Babba, was held today, Friday, 4th September 2026, at RCCN Bika Babba, in an atmosphere of solemnity, reflection, and Christian hope.

The service was officiated by Rev. R. M. Yerima, who ministered on the theme “Living with Eternity in View.” The message encouraged the congregation to live meaningful and godly lives, remembering that earthly life is temporary and that every person should prepare for eternity.

The service brought together family members, relatives, friends, church members, and well-wishers who came to mourn with the bereaved family and honour the memory of the deceased. Through prayers, hymns, Scripture readings, and the Word of God, the congregation was reminded of the Christian hope of eternal life and the need to remain faithful to God.

Among those in attendance was the representative of the RCCN President, Elder Philip Siman, the RCCN D.F., who joined other church leaders and dignitaries in expressing solidarity with the bereaved family.

The service was also a time of comfort and encouragement, as the church stood with the family during their moment of grief, reminding them of God's presence and unfailing promises.

As the family and mourners bid farewell to Late Mr. Bala S. Yakubu, prayers were offered for God's comfort, strength, and peace upon the bereaved family.
