TOPIC: YOU ARE A CHANGE AGENT

SCRIPTURE: And Moses brought their cause before the Lord. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.

Numbers 27:5-7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is still looking for people who will bring needed changes in their generation.

Many people desire change, but few are willing to become instrumental to the change they desire. God has demonstrated throughout Scripture and even in contemporary times that when a person is willing to stand up to address what is wrong, He can use that individual to transform families, communities, nations and generations. God moves with movers.

Many situations remain unchanged, not because they cannot be changed, but because no one has stood up to address them. There are matters that have lingered in families, communities, territories, and nations because everyone has accepted them as normal. Yet, God is usually waiting for someone to rise and say, “This thing must stop!”

This was the case with the daughters of Zelophehad in our anchor Scripture. The law of inheritance in Israel at the time favoured sons, and that was an issue for the daughters of Zelophehad because their father died without a son. So, they stood to lose their inheritance. They could have accepted the situation and remained silent, but they refused to watch their father’s name and inheritance disappear. They rose and presented their case before Moses.

When Moses brought their matter before the Lord, God’s response was remarkable. He said, “The daughters of Zelophehad speak right.” God instructed Moses to give them an inheritance among their father’s brethren. That was how what had existed as a tradition and practice in Israel was altered. That change happened because some relatively voiceless women refused to keep quiet.

But God’s response did not stop there. He went further and established a new law in Israel. What started as the concern of a family gave the nation of Israel a new statute or law of inheritance. A precept was altered. History was rewritten. The course of events changed because someone stood up and spoke.

Beloved, God is still looking for people who will bring needed changes in their generation. He is looking for people who will confront situations that are not in the interest of His plan and purpose for His people. He is looking for people who will challenge negative patterns, wrong practices, and limitations that have existed for too long.

The story of the daughters of Zelophehad teaches us that one person can be the reason something changes for good. One person can become the instrument God uses to change negative patterns and cycles in a family, transform a nation, liberate a territory, or rewrite a negative story.

Today, God is still asking, “Who will stand?” He is looking for men and women who will refuse to accept the status quo. He is looking for change agents. He is looking for someone whose life He can use to rewrite a negative history.

REMEMBER THIS: God is still looking for people who will bring needed changes in their generation.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Identify any negative pattern or situation around you that needs to change and refuse to accept it as normal.
2. Ask God for the courage to stand for what is right, regardless of opposition.
3. Position yourself as an instrument of positive change in your family, community, and generation.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your devotion to God determines the flow of His provision in your life.

There is a clear and undeniable connection between our devotion to God and His provisions in our lives. Throughout Scripture, those who pursued God wholeheartedly and consistently experienced His blessings, favour, abundance, and preservation.
There is a connection between the pursuit of God and the possession of good. There is a connection between our heart for God and our portion in life.

There is also a connection between the fear of God and the flow of good. When a person is genuinely devoted to God, the flow of divine provision becomes natural.

Today, we shall explore Biblical examples of people whose devotion to God provoked supernatural provisions into their lives.
1. Abraham. Genesis 18:19 says: For I know him… God testified concerning Abraham that he was genuine, faithful, and committed to His ways. Abraham obeyed God completely and maintained consistent fellowship with Him. The step of devotion provokes the response of provision. When a man takes the action of devotion, God releases the reaction of provision (Genesis 24:1).

2. Isaac (Genesis 24:63).
Isaac understood the power of meditation and fellowship with God, and as he meditated, divine direction and supply came his way. (Genesis 26:1-2, 12-14) Hence, the meditation of your heart will determine the manifestation of your life. Isaac was also a man of spiritual responsibility. When Rebekah his wife was barren, he did not complain or abandon her; rather, he interceded for her until God answered. (Genesis 25:21).
1. Jacob
Jacob was a man who understood altars, worship, and covenant relationship with God. In Genesis 28:20, Jacob made a vow unto God after his encounter at Bethel. Jacob valued God deeply and remained committed to Him. Later, at Peniel, he wrestled in prayer until his life changed permanently and his name became Israel. Beloved, genuine devotion to God is never a waste. Every investment in God always produces undeniable results.
1. Joseph.
Joseph stood out among his brothers because of his devotion to God and his hatred for evil. In Genesis 42:18, Joseph said, For I fear God… The presence of God in Joseph’s life was undeniable because Joseph passionately pursued God and God prospered him. The outcome of Joseph’s devotion was dominion, authority and prosperity in Egypt (Genesis 41:41).

1. Job. (Job 1:1)
Job was addicted to God and allergic to evil. He maintained integrity, righteousness, and devotion despite intense trials.

Beloved, righteousness and prosperity can coexist. Integrity and abundance can go together. Holiness does not reduce a person; it distinguishes and elevates them. Your heart for God will always determine your path in life, regardless of opposition or circumstances.

REMEMBER THIS: Your devotion to God determines the flow of His provision in your life.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Prioritise your relationship with God above every other pursuit.
2. Develop a consistent lifestyle of prayer, meditation, and worship.
3. Walk in integrity and the fear of God continually.

TOPIC: LITTLE DECISIONS, GREAT DESTINY

SCRIPTURE: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat…
Daniel 1:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Character built in little matters preserves destiny in major matters.

It has been confirmed that actions in little issues determine actions in major matters. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego first said, “NO” to the king’s food before they later said, “NO” to the king’s god – Daniel 1:8-21.

They had already won the battle in little matters before the major test arrived. If they had compromised with the king’s food, they would not have stood against the golden image. Their stand in the small matter became their strength to stand in the bigger matter.

The way you handle the matter of the king today will determine the way you will handle the god of the king tomorrow. If you cannot say, “NO” now, it will be difficult to say, “NO” later. Compromise in little matters prepares a person for compromise in greater matters. A lie today can become a deception tomorrow. Small compromises today can become major failures tomorrow. Everything in life is a seed; what you sow today is what you will reap tomorrow. What you don’t want to reap tomorrow, don’t sow it today.

There is nothing called small lies or situational ethics where truth changes depending on the situation a person finds himself in. Truth remains truth and integrity remains integrity irrespective of the situation. A person who lies continually today may struggle to stand tomorrow.

For example, if Judas Iscariot could steal from his Master without any restraining conscience, he could sell his Master without hesitation. The little issue prepared the ground for the major issue. Character can either preserve destiny or destroy it.

Beloved, every time you maintain good character, it becomes stronger. Every act of obedience empowers you to obey again. Every time you do the right thing, it becomes easier to continue in the right direction. But every compromise weakens the conscience and reduces spiritual strength. Character is the ability to say, “NO” without guilt and to stand by conviction with boldness, irrespective of pressure.

Character is developed through reverence for God. Anything that will displease God is not worth pursuing. Joseph refused to compromise because he valued divine favour above human favour (Genesis 39:8-9). He understood that gaining the approval of man while losing the favour of God was not profitable.

Beloved, little positive decisions make great impact on life and destiny. If you can say, “NO” to the king’s food today, you can say, “NO” to the king’s god tomorrow. Be careful of your choices, associations and inputs because the destiny you desire tomorrow is tied to the decisions you make today.

REMEMBER THIS: Character built in little matters preserves destiny in major matters.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Refuse to compromise in little matters and maintain your convictions.
2. Develop reverence for God and place His approval above human favour.
3. Be selective about the people, influences and materials you allow into your life.

TOPIC: DILIGENCE—A PATHWAY TO THE TOP

SCRIPTURE: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Ecclesiastes 9:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you want to go up in life, you must give life all it takes, so life can give you all it contains.

The life of diligence is a major pathway to the top. If you want to go up in life, you must give life all it takes, so life can give you all it contains.

Proverbs 22:29 says, Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

The way of diligence is the way of eminence. Diligence means brutal work, brutal deployment of energy, and tireless commitment to the assignment given to you. Some people live as if life is a permanent holiday. But the truth is that destiny does not answer to laziness. Let your work become your hobby. Give your task no rest until your task gives you rest.

In today’s study, we shall examine scriptural examples of men who walked in diligence and the outcome of their lives.

1. Jacob (Genesis 31:38-41).

Genesis 31:38-41 reveals how Jacob laboured tirelessly in the house of Laban for twenty years. He endured drought by day, frost by night, and sleeplessness because of responsibility. Beloved, once in a while, sleep should depart from your eyes because of your assignment. All-night sleep can lead to all-day regret. Jacob laboured aggressively, and that labour took him to the top.

ii. Isaac (Genesis 26:18-24).

Genesis 26:18-24 shows us how Isaac kept digging wells despite opposition from the Philistines. He continued working despite resistance until he arrived at Rehoboth — the place of enlargement.

I want you to pay attention to this: persistence is the cure for resistance. If you keep working, no devil can stop your enlargement. Continuous deployment of energy is the pathway to enlargement and distinction. Our Master Jesus says in John 5:17, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. God identifies with genuine labourers.

Beloved, people who truly experience God’s help are not lucky people; they are “worky” people. Their labour attracts divine favour.

iii. Paul the Apostle

Apostle Paul was labour personified. 1 Corinthians 15:10 corroborates this: …but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Paul travelled tirelessly, preached everywhere, endured hardship, and wrote a major portion of the New Testament. He became a star among the apostles because of his extraordinary labour.

Beloved, the way of labour is the way of honour. There is no rise without a price. If you cannot find a job, create one. Develop yourself, sharpen your skills, and engage your hands productively. Do what you find until you find what you truly desire.

REMEMBER THIS: If you want to go up in life, you must give life all it takes, so life can give you all it contains.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Refuse idleness and laziness; embrace diligence.
2. Give the work of your hands the best you have got.
3. Develop your skills and improve yourself continuously.

TOPIC: THE FORCE OF PRAISE AND PERSISTENCE IN FAITH.

SCRIPTURE: Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. Psalm 106:12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Praise confirms belief, and persistence preserves expectation until manifestation.

The Scripture makes it clear that genuine faith produces steadfastness joy, celebration. When a person truly believes God, his joy and excitement flow naturally. Genuine faith in God also births persistence and resilience.

In our study today, we shall be looking at two forces of faith:

1. Excited celebration

Beloved, there is a kind of joy that faith brings. There is a dimension of praise that accompanies faith. For example, before Jesus multiplied the five loaves and two fishes, He first gave thanks (John 6:11).

When you see something out of the Word, believe it in your heart, and allow it to change your mindset. Picture it ahead of you, declare it audaciously, and move in its reality, and the next thing is the flow of joyful celebration. At this point, people may be wondering why you are celebrating when nothing physical appears to have changed.

But you understand that not everything available is visible. Your mind exists, but you cannot see it physically. Oxygen exists, though it cannot be seen. In the same way, your future, testimony, breakthrough, husband, wife, and children already exist even before their physical manifestation.

Now, why do we praise? We praise to confirm our belief. That is why Psalm 106:12 says, they believed his words; they sang his praise.

Praise confirms conviction. We praise God because we believe that what He has spoken concerning us shall surely come to pass. We praise to activate supernatural manifestation and release.

Some time ago, I had a trance before a convention while on a trip to the United Kingdom. In the vision, trucks carrying supplies for people were seen suspended in the spirit realm. The Lord revealed that those supplies had already been released from heaven but had not yet reached the people. And thanksgiving and praise were the triggers for their release.

Beloved, there are blessings God has already released, but many people have not received them because thanksgiving has not been activated.

1. The force of persistence or steadfastness.

This refers to unwavering expectation and refusal to give up until the promise manifests. Job acted in this line of persistence when he declared in Job 14:14, If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Furthermore, Ephesians 6:13-14 admonishes us to remain steadfast, unwavering in our expectation: ...Having done all, to stand. Stand therefore…

In other words, after praying, believing, speaking, acting, and praising, remain steadfast, remain standing in faith.

Beloved, there are timings and seasons with God. Sometimes the blessing is ready, but the recipient is still being processed. That is why persistence and praise are necessary. While persistence wearies out resistance, praise confirms your belief.

REMEMBER THIS: Praise confirms belief, and persistence preserves expectation until manifestation.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Consistently maintain the attitude of joy and thanksgiving regardless of contrary situations.

2. Refuse to accommodate the spirit of discouragement and remain steadfast in faith.

3. Continue standing on God’s Word until your testimony manifests.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for showing me the forces of faith. I receive the grace to remain joyful, steadfast, and unwavering in faith until every promise You have spoken concerning my life manifests, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*TOPIC: THE SECRET OF LASTING GREATNESS.*

*SCRIPTURE:* But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* Humility attracts grace, lifting, and lasting greatness, while pride leads to downfall.

The Scripture makes it clear in 1 Peter 5:5 that grace flows in the direction of humility. The heart of humility is a major secret of authority, distinction, and lasting greatness in life. This is true because God exalts the humble and resists the proud.

The story of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon is a classical example of how God resists and humbles the proud. Nebuchadnezzar became so proud that he made a massive image of himself and commanded people to bow before it and worship it.

After that, he openly boasted, saying, Is not this great Babylon that I have built by my power and by my might? While those words were still in his mouth, judgment came upon him. His reasoning departed from him, and he was driven into the wilderness like an animal (Daniel 4:30-33).

For seven years, he lived in humiliation until he lifted his eyes to heaven and acknowledged God as the Most High. Then his understanding returned to him. In Daniel 4:37, having learned his lessons, he confessed that those who walk in pride, God was able to abase.

Beloved, it is better to humble yourself by choice than to be humbled by force. Humility by decision is far better than humility through frustration (Proverbs 29:23).

Examples of People Lifted Through Humility
We have examples of people in Scripture who were lifted through humility:

i. *Moses* (Numbers12:3).
Moses combined humility with teachability, and that was why God lifted him above others in his generation. God spoke with him face-to-face because he remained meek before God.

ii. *Joseph* (Genesis 41:16).
Joseph was greatly gifted, yet he never took the glory for himself.

When Pharaoh said he heard Joseph could interpret dreams, Joseph replied, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. (Genesis 41:16).

Humility acknowledges God as the source of every gift, ability, result, and achievement. Some people are educated, gifted, hardworking, and talented, yet they do not have the kind of results God has given to others less endowed than they.

Beloved, what God has not given you, you cannot truly have, and what He has not done for you cannot be done. And when you continually acknowledge Him in humility, He will continually uplift you in authority and prosperity.

iii. *Solomon.*
In 1 Kings 3:7-13, Solomon stood before God and said: …I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or how to come in.... Solomon acknowledged his limitations and dependence on God, and God responded by giving him uncommon wisdom, riches and greatness.

Beloved, the limit of your humility is the limit of your authority and greatness. Wherever humility stops, authority also stops. God desires to bring His people to realms where their results cannot be explained naturally, but the pathway to that realm is humility before God.

*REMEMBER THIS:* Humility attracts grace, lifting, and lasting greatness, while pride leads to downfall.

1. Refuse every form of pride and self-glory.

2. Continually acknowledge God as the source of all your results.

*TOPIC: FAITH DECLARATION AND PRACTICAL ACTION*.

*SCRIPTURE*: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.
2 Corinthians 4:13

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY*: What is not declared is not cleared, and faith becomes potent only with the right action.

Our anchor Scripture above makes it clear that faith is not complete until it is declared and backed by corresponding actions. We have a speaking faith, not a silent faith. What you truly believe in your heart must find expression through your mouth and your actions. Declaration is the proof of conviction. If you believe it enough, you will speak it boldly and act it confidently.

In Daniel 3:16-17, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego declared before Nebuchadnezzar, Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand...

They believed it passionately and declared it boldly.
Also, in Numbers 13:30, when the other spies said the land could not be conquered, Caleb stood before the people and declared, Let us go up at once and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Beloved, what you say determines what you see. Confession determines possession. What is not declared is not cleared, and faith becomes potent only with the right action.

That is why Numbers 14:28 says, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you. God confirms the words of faith-filled people.
However, faith declarations must be backed with corresponding actions. Any faith without action is empty faith. The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-29 did not stop at believing in her heart or speaking within herself; she moved through the crowd and touched the garment of Jesus. Her action activated her miracle.

There are works of responsibility and works of reality. Works of responsibility mean doing what God says for Him to do what He promised. Works of reality mean functioning in the reality of your expectation. If you believe God has supplied your needs, you refuse to carry a beggar mentality. If you believe God has opened a door for you, you move with confidence and expectation.

Beloved, your destiny is connected to your faith-based authoritative declarations and actions. Until your mouth is opened in faith, your future may remain closed. Refuse negative confessions, fear-triggered words and unbelieving statements. Speak the Word only, and back your declarations with practical actions of faith.

*TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF KINGDOM POWER.*

*SCRIPTURE:* After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come…
Matthew 6:9-10

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* Kingdom Power is necessary for the establishment and enforcement of God’s Rule on the earth.

The Kingdom of God is not established by words alone; it is established by power, God’s Power. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, ...Thy kingdom come... He was referring to the manifestation of God’s Rule, Dominion, Authority, and Power on the earth.

Kingdom Power is necessary to make it clear that God is in charge. We live in a world where many people draw strength from strange altars and dark powers to gain influence, wealth, and control. Satan himself told Jesus, ...All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me (Matthew 4:9). But Jesus refused because there is a higher path to glory that does not require bowing to the force of darkness.

Beloved, God is raising Kingdom people by His Power, people who will not compromise their faith. That is why you are not permitted to bow to any altar, shrine, or ungodly system to succeed in life. Kingdom Power gives believers the ability to stand boldly and establish God’s Authority and Dominion in every sphere of life.

The Power of God is also needed to enforce the Will, Purpose and Plan of God on earth and in the lives of His people. There are times when the forces of darkness resist the Purpose of God; that is when Power becomes necessary to silence the opposition.

Teaching the Scripture and its principles alone cannot handle every situation; that was why Jesus taught, preached, healed and demonstrated Power in diverse miracles, signs and wonders.

There are demonic afflictions, captivities, and torments that require the raw manifestation of God’s Power.

Kingdom Power is needed for the liberation of the oppressed, healing of the afflicted, deliverance of the bound, and release of the captive. It is the Power of God that puts the enemy where he belongs and establishes victory in the lives of God’s people.

Christianity without Power becomes an empty religion, a sort of mockery. Power is a fundamental attribute of the Kingdom.
The testimony of the Glory Dome project is a clear example of the manifestation of Kingdom Power.

After searching physically for land without success, divine direction and prophetic action released the desired supernatural results. What could not be found by human effort was effortlessly located when Power was engaged. God revealed the location, and within days, the property was physically found exactly as shown in the revelation.

Beloved, when Kingdom Power is at work, impossibilities become possibilities. Divine Power can establish what human strength cannot achieve.

*REMEMBER THIS:* Kingdom Power is necessary for the establishment and enforcement of God’s Rule on the earth.

*ASSIGNMENT(S):*
1. Refuse to compromise or bow to ungodly systems to succeed.

2. Build your spiritual power through consistent prayer, study of the Word, and fellowship with God.

3. Trust God for the manifestation of His Power in every impossible situation around your life.

PRAYER: Father, let Your power be manifested in my life to establish Your will and dominion on the earth. Help me never to compromise with the forces of darkness; make me a custodian of Your Kingdom Power, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
