Kingdom Empowerment Program (K.E.P) Started in the year 2006,as a mandate given by God for the purpose of Empowering people, Especially the believers on JESUS CHRIST to Discover who they are in God and to further occupy till the return of the MESSIAH-JESUS CHRIST. The Vision was birth by the Holy Spirit through the servant of God, Pastor Paul Edet Peter, who received th

is mandate faithfully like the biblical Paul the Apostle, who received sound Biblical Teachings from God and also handed over to Timothy, His beloved son in the Lord; whom he also counseled to teach others who will be faithful to carry it on till the entire world is transformed through this teachings. Through the KINGDOM EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM (K.E.P) there has been an unprecedented transformation of lives, dumbfounding testimonies and self realization amongst other notable events. In 2006 the theme was ‘OPERATING IN HIS FULLNESS’, 2007: ‘THE KING’S MANIFESTATION’, 2008: ‘TIME OF REFRESHING’, 2009: ‘STEPPING INTO THE POWER OF HIS GRACE’; 2010 ‘THE KING OF GLORY’ and 2011 was tagged ‘MANIFESTING HIS GREATNESS’
In 2010 K.E.P took a new shape with life changing programs introduced-Couple’s Seminar and Singles Summit. These programs lent credence to the purpose of K.E.P which is to empower people for SELF DISCOVERY and FULFILMENT of God’s Original plan for Man on Earth. Theme: My Set Time
Preacher: elder Seyi odutayo
Topic: managing recession
Text: genesis 26:12-13,Isaiah 31:1

What is recession? Occurs when there is a declining, meltdown, downturn and depression. In the language of the olden days it is called “famine”. Recession makes people lose what they have.in the time of Jacob there was recession which made the nation to go to Egypt for food.
Recession made a man to commit su***de. It makes people lose their faith in God. In the time of Isaac there was famine in gerar where he lived. God told him not to go to Egypt and dwell in the land which God had told him to, for he will bless Isaac. It can be found in genesis 26:2-3. Isaac worked in faith and was blessed by God, it can be found in the book of gen26vs12-23. Isaac faith gave him an idea which made him wealthy.
Ways which Isaac prospered in the time of recession.
1. Isaac found out Gods plan
2. Isaac had to hear from God
3. Isaac obeyed God’s word
4. Isaac broke with the tradition of his father by not going to Egypt .genesis 26vs2
5. Isaac adapted to the ideas of previous generation
6. Isaac was bold enough to do something which no one did by digging wells .genesis26vs18.
7. Isaac overcame resistance.
8. He persevered and never became discouraged by the resistance.
9. He refused to fight those who were against him.
10. He blessed God; he believed that what God has promised he will surely do.
In sequel of all this ,its expedient for all believers to think like Isaac .the only to overcome recession this time of recession is not by formula, but by building a relationship with God and he will bless us.

Topic: faith and time (part 2)
Text: Hebrew 11: 1, James 1:18, Philippians 4:13
“faith is substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen” if we go by faith of Hebrew 11:1 , we will only conclude that it is the old testament of faith which was the faith of the old testament fathers, Enoch, Abraham, Jacob, Noah. They saw what they wanted very far, they believed it was it but didn’t have what they wanted (Hebrew 11:1).
Faith is a person and that person did not walk in its real identity but a shadow. (John 9). The scriptures and the gospel have no similar meaning. Having faith is one thing and using that faith to work is another. John the Baptist was the end of the Old Testament.
New Testament began after the death of Jesus on the cross, because that was when the mission of Christ started and till now, it continues. Your faith is Jesus (himself and the only way to demonstrate faith is to look at Jesus). Hebrew 12:2. The moment you take your eyes away from Jesus, you have taken out your faith.
Definition of Faith
• Looking unto Jesus
• Confidence in Jesus
Outside this two, there is no other one.

Text: Luke 19:41-44
It is disheartening for one not to know his set time. Inheritance are not kept for slaves, they are kept for sons. The prodigal son, in the first half of his life, he was wise. Being a child of God is a dignifiable identity.
Faith is not faith all the time. Faith is used in different aspects of the bible. If you are using faith as a tool, at different bus stops of your life, your faith will be dropped there. That is an enoneous approach. (Mark 11:12, 14:20-24). To Jesus in that scripture, faith is a lifestyle. There is faith in Jesus that answers and delivers you, not your faith. All you need to do is to have the type of God’s faith and things shall begin to work for you.
Desire: I must set my desire out first. When your desires are in line with the word of God(scriptures), there is no power from your father’s house that can stop your desires from coming to pass. You are born to inherit your inheritance. Jesus is your inheritance and inside Jesus, your desires are met.
Jesus is your faith and lifestyle.

The pastor started his Sermon with revising what he preached the previous day, then he continued his sermon.
• Connect to people that will make your dream come to pass. You need people who tell you, you can make and not those saying you cannot. Do not follow those that will say you cannot do it, people have tried. Do not follow them, but follow those who say try God will help you.
• Stay focused on your dream: avoid distractions, nothing changes him. A favored man is usually very stubborn. Proper understanding of your dream makes you focused. A focus person doesn’t mingle around. Only those who focus on their focus, will end up becoming focus.
• The God factor: you must have God (Psalm 29:1, lamentations 3:37).
Dream Killers
• Family: those familiar with you.
• Unfriendly friends(Psalm 1:1)
• Fear
• Lack of integrity: A man without honesty, his dream will never manifest. If your dream must be fulfilled, practice honesty. (Proverbs 10:1)
• Procrastinations.

TOPIC: turning your dreams to reality (part 1)

There are different types of people:
• People without a dream: Those who only exist on earth without a dream.
• People with very small dreams: those comfortable with their present situation. They limit themselves with very little things which become big to them.
• People with great dreams: Your dreams must be bigger than you. A good dream is something that is unrealistic to people.
• People with guts dreams: A great dream is not guts dream.
What is a dream?
• A dream is a visual image about your assignments in life.
• It is a picture of your God ordained vision.
• It is a glimpse of what you want to become.
There is an explicit difference with what you want to be and what God wants you to be.
How to turn your dreams to reality
• Discovery of that dream (Gen 37): Every dream that must be fulfilled must be discovered. Your life is centered around your dreams even the person you will get married to (Proverbs 28:26 ).
• Begin to gather right information: Once you are not informed you are deformed. (Proverbs 13:16, 18:13).your dream cannot be fulfilled until you are properly informed. You need to know what know. You need to get right information. (Proverbs 24:6). You need proper counselling. The more you get good advice, the faster your manifestation (Proverbs 20:18).
• Evaluate your dreams and its cost. (Proverbs 20:25).
• Start something and somehow: every great dream starts from somewhere.
Prayer Points
• Lord help me maximize my potential, so that my dream can come to pass.
• Every power against the manifestation of my glory and dream be shattered.
• God let all the help I need to actualize my dream be made available in Jesus name.

Who is a prophet?
A prophet is a messenger of God, a person who speaks the will of God. A prophet is expected to live and have moral standards.
Who is a widow?
A widow is a single mother left to cater for herself and the children. A widow is not meant to be oppressed according to Exodus 22: 22-23
Those expected to care for the widows:
• Family
• The community including the church
• It’s God responsibility to care for them according to Isaiah 54:5

1. The widow concluded that she had nothing but never knew she had God. God came with what we call the 3D’s which are;
• Deliverance and love. Gal 3: 12
• Direction. Isaiah 48: 17
• Development. Num 6: 24-26

2. She had the word: The widow had the word of God. When you have the word of God, you become illuminated. The word brings self discovery, motivation. The word will change your life when you first receive it, meditate, obey and believe.
3. She had oil: Oil in those days were used for cooking, cosmetics and medicine. In our generation, the oil is called “PRODUCTIVE POWER”. The man of God wanted to test ;
• Her level of faith
• Her level obedience
• The type of relationship she had with the people in the community. The type of relationship you have with people around you can change your level either negatively or positively in life.

4. She had ideas: A man with an idea is a man of change, solution and discovery. Idea gives a man an edge over his counterparts or peers. It gives a man an edge over hardship.

You have to invest in your tomorrow for it to be better. The widow invested in her tomorrow even if she was left alone to cater for herself to become productive. If you don’t build today, you can’t build again. Invest in your children, career, marriage, academics and what have you.

PRAYER POINTS.
1. Lord give me a good future.
2. Help me prepare well for my tomorrow.

What is a method?
• Method is a way of getting things done rightly.
• It is a careful organized plan or action that controls the way you arrive at your point of success.
• The right system that is acceptable to the action that you are embarking on.
If the methods towards your actions are wrong, the result will be wrong to get right results, you must get the methods right.
Everyone on earth is embarking on a project. Where you are in life is determined by the method you use ,where you are now in your life is as a method of what you are used to in past years . the result you have in life is based on the method you have used before . certain things in life works by fasting but certain things in life works by planning.
Questions to ask yourself to get good results in life
1.what am I doing and why am i doing it?
(i) Am I focusing on doing the right thing and am I doing it rightly?
(ii) Am I connecting with the right people: you must connect to the right people to shape you to success.
In answering this three questions in life ,there are three ways :
(i) Logical
(ii) Methodological
(iii) Spiritual
The storehouse for everything that must be created is the brain. Some people have “head” but not “brain”. That’s why they are called “Edward”. When you get logical about a particular thing the method comes in.
Many of us are thinking too much and planning to much.
Eight methods that results to success
1. Proven and tested : before doing anything ,the method you lay down must be proven and tested.(ist sam17vs38-40).tested by God and man.
2. Is it divinely motivated : who gave you the idea ,God or man?. Your method must be divinely inspired and motivated.
3. Is it contemooary enough: are you up to date ,your method must be up to date and efficient.
4. Your method must be appealing and attractive: if you want success,what you are doing must be appealing and attractive to call the attention of people.
5. Does it have a life span: can it re sustain the time given? Whatever done must have a definite lifespan.
6. Cost effective: it has to provide essential services different from others.
7. It must have a convincing strength : you have to make sure your method has a way of attaining Gods will which is your will .

Who is a manager?
• A manager is a director
• A manager is an administrator
• A manager is an executor
• A manager is a coach
The Holy Spirit is not an ‘IT’ but a ‘HE’. When Adam fed from Grace, the post of a manager was removed from him and he became a dead man. Jesus came with love, mercy and grace. Love fought for us, mercy brought us and Grace made us who we are. The holy spirit came as a manager to be with us and in us. Through research, the word used for “COMFORTER” is called “PARAKLETOS” Which means comforter, Councilor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener and Stand by.
PEOPLE THE MANAGER AND TIMESETTER (HOLY SPIRIT) SPEAKS TO
• The holy spirit speaks to the members of the team.
• He speaks to those who have accepted him.
• He speaks to those who are willing to obey.
What withholds your blessings is your mouth and your obedience. God is limited through the power you release (Eph 3:20) If the power in you is small, God will do small things. The best prophecy is what you release from your mouth./ you are limited from what comes act from your mouth because your mouth is prophecy. A delayed obedience is disobedience. Your obedience determines the level of the miracle you enjoy. The bible made us to understand that before you ask ‘I have answered’ that’s because the manager is talking on your behalf. Before you pray, the Lord shall make everything available for you.
You can never have the manager without accepting Jesus. Accept Jesus and have a manager.
Prayer points
• Oh Lord my set time shall not be postponed.
• Oh Lord single me out for blessings in the name of Jesus.
• Oh Lord wherever my glories have been buried Lord, begin to come out.
• Lord for my sake shake the heavens, earth, seas, for my glory.

Text: psalm 102 vs 13, Ecclesiastes 8:6, 3:11, Isaiah 60:1
The bible makes us to understand that light did not did not come but since man loved darkness, they did not receive him immediately Jesus came; we had light and life of man [Gen 1:1-3]. The reason God has not allowed the devil to kill you is because you have a purpose. There are people that have died and did not achieve their purpose but it will never be you.
Joseph felt he will be comfortable in the house of Potiphar but conditions catapulted him to get to his place of destination. There are people that miss their set time because they are not sensitive to the spirit.
HOW TO KNOW YOUR SET TIME HAS COME
1. When it is your set time, GOD will send a messenger: being sensitive to the messenger sent to you [2 chronicles 20vs20]. It is the prophecy you believe that comes to pass in your life.
2. The messenger passes by: Jesus didn’t go to meet the woman with the issue of blood, Jesus was passing by and because she was sensitive afterwards she received her healing. The moment the Holy Spirit knows your set time has come, he makes the passenger pass your way.
3. When your set time has come, the Holy Spirit allows some people to leave your life. Jesus was revealed to john in the book of revelation and said ‘’when I shut the door ,no man can open it’ ’when God takes away something, he is about to give you the best .when God makes a thing to walk away ,they away from something better to come.[Isaiah 6vs1]. God knew why he made uzziah to die, because he wanted Isaiah to see the lord. Nothing just happened; God has a control over everything.
4. God makes you attract some difficulties: if you start encountering difficulties, God has a better plan for you. Hannah was mocked and her miracle came. Saul persecuted David and David entered the throne. Whatever you are going through today, the Holy Spirit is setting a God for you.

Prayer points
1. Every chain of backwardness let them be disconnected and destroyed in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord make me who you want me to be in the name of Jesus.

The kingdom empowerment program day 2 started with a blessed worship filled with God’s glory led by Presiding elder John and was followed by the mass choir. Pastor Victor Bassey the assembly pastor began his sermon with some spiritual songs and prophetic words upon lives.
What is Favor?
Favor is a special treatment or a special privilege at the expense of others.
• Favour is a blessing you cannot say why and how. A man that is favored is a man that is preferred.
• Favour is the grace of God upon the life of a man. Favour approves and qualifies for a blessing (Heb 4 vs 16). We have the Supernatural and Natural favor.
The natural favour is gotten through your sweat and work. The supernatural favour comes as a result of the faith you have in your God, it’s a divine favour that comes with GRACE.
What Favour makes you to be
• It makes one outstanding: in the midst of the crowd, favour makes you outstanding wherever you find yourself or whatever you do. When God favour’s you, you remain outstanding all through the days of your life.
• It makes life easier for you: a man that is favoured, begins to see things working for his good easily without struggle.
• Favour makes you become a harvester instead of a labourer. May your life move from the level of toiling to the level of a harvester.
• Favour gives a man an edge over others.
• Favour changes everything that is negative to positive.

What to do to be Favoured
• Newness of life. A renewed life. [john 42:10]
• Forgiveness
• Respect to those who deserves it.
• A life of Generosity attacks Favour
• A prayerful life
Your life cannot grow above your level of prayer. The more you pray, the greater your glory in life. Perseverance brings about favour. [Psalm 89:17]. The more you preserve, the more your favour comes.
Prayer points
• Thank God for his Favour in all areas of your life.
• Set ablaze every book that has the name of everything you acquire in life for condemnation.
• Oh Lord my God, every door of Favour you have opened for me must not be shut by my enemies.
• Oh Lord my God, bless me with grace and wisdom and how to manage the favour that you have given to me.
• Lord surround me with favour.
• Raise your hands to God and begin to shut every door of sorrows and bad news.

Topic: Appointed time[ part 1]
Text: Psalm 102:13, Jeremiah 29:2
The kingdom empowerment commonly as [KEP] commenced at 6:00pm with a solemn worship filled with God’s presence and was held by Elder John Harrison. The pastor started his sermon with some prophetic declaration and songs. He took a look at the two words “APPOINTED TIME”.
APPOINTED: appointed is a predetermined time planned by God. Every appointed time of God carries a purpose. THIS IS YOU TIME! THIS IS YOUR REASON! It was never too late for Sarah [Hebrews 11:11] and it will never be too late for you. No matter what the children of Israel passed through, God was still with them. You will pass.
TIME: has to do with a set period or a fixed period where things occur either negative or positive. Your position has come for positive things to begin to happen to you. There is a big difference between “TIME and CLOCK”. The clock can stop or delay but the time can’t.
• Time can never wait or stop
• Time can never be reversed but the clock can
Time is a valuable material on earth, what you do with your time will determine your destination in life because everything in life is acquired in time.[Ecclesiastes3:1-1]. Time defines a man. The worst thing that can happen to a man is to lost his time.
Effects and consequences of time loss
• Loss of resources
• Loss of opportunity
• Loss of life
God will give you what he has for you not what you want for yourself. In the name of Jesus. Your blessings and heart desires will not come late. You might have your set time but above all God has his set time for you. God’s time changes us from who we were to whom he wants us to be. Time is a major determining factor in life.
• Time determines your location in life
• Time determines the level of your speed
• Time determines your allocation in life
What to do with your time
• Invest your time:
• Do things that will bring positivity
• To care for yourself, your relationship, to build a successful marriage.
The pastor concluded his sermon by giving some prayer points.

Prayer Points
• Thank you lord because my time is determined by you.
• Every power responsible for my set back in life, tonight be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
• My Father, My Father, I rebuke all powers controlling my time negativity.
• Oh Lord my God, I tear off from my body, business life and ministry, every garment of setback.
• Lord destine your covenant in my life to come to pass.
• My Father, My Father, I will not be what you have not created or ordained for me.
• Pray for the church and the Nation Nigeria.
• Pray for the remaining days of the program.
