Three principles of receiving from God:
1. Prayer
2. Praises and worship
3. Giving
Luke 6:38 KJV
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Acts 20:33-35
Giving is one of the most important commandment to believers today, any hand that gives will always remain on top.
HOW MUCH SHOULD WE GIVE:
*Give sacrificially
*Give willingly
*Give happily
*Give generously
Today, there is no amount stipulated for one to give.
However, sacrificial giving is the order.
It is more blessed to give than to receive, said Jesus! Giving is sacrificial! Always give sacrificially. Don't give with the aim of trade by barter. Always give rejoicing, not with grudging heart. Whatever you give shall be given back to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.
In Luke 19:8 Zacchaeus gave half of all he had and gave it to the poor. Sacrificial giving!
The Luke 21:24 The poor widow gave all she had.
1Cor 16:1-2 . Verse two: Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
You should give according to how God has prospered you. Don't give because in coercion.
Be blessed as you give.
