THEME: THE RESURRECTION POWER
God is mightily present in our midst to do great and mighty things in our lives.
We are familiar with the word "Resurrection Power," but there is a lot in this word that God wants to reveal to us in this season.
God wants to help us this week.
Philippians 3:10
[10] that I may KNOW HIM, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
From this scripture, there is a cry to know Him; it was not first of all a cry for breakthroughs or the supernatural but a cry to Know Him.
📍When there is no cry to know Him but there is a drive in you for power, you stand a chance to go occultic.
📌The journey to power must begin with a desire to know Christ; else Satan will appear to you and give you fake powers. When you switch from Christ, Satan will embrace you.
A generation must emerge with the quest to know Jesus.
‼️Knowing Jesus is a lifelong journey, but the desire and passion to know Him must be sustained.
📍As you pursue the knowledge of God, you will come into the experience of God.
It is in the hub called the experience of God that the true spiritual power of God lies.
📌The pursuit of the knowledge of God precedes the experience of God, and the experience of God precedes power.
The power of His resurrection is not a power to have or receive; it is a power to KNOW.
The knowledge here is revelation knowledge.
Psalm 63:1-2
[1] O God, thou art my God; EARLY WILL I SEEK THEE: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.
[2] To see thy power and thy glory, So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
The contact with the power of His resurrection is by a knowing, and that knowing is by a SEEING.
‼️If you cannot see it by revelation, you cannot touch nor embrace it.
Exodus 5:3, Hebrews 11:27
Hebrews 11:27
[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as SEEING Him Who Is Invisible.
The authority that Moses had in Egypt came from his meeting with God.
📍If you cannot see Him, you cannot experience Him, and if you cannot experience Him, you cannot see His power.
It is what a man sees that makes a champion of him and makes him powerful.
Ephesians 1:18–19
[18] the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may KNOW (1) what is the hope of his calling, (2) what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and (3) what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
The revelation knowledge must be in place before you walk in certain experiences in this life.
The transforming power is in seeing.
Ephesians 1:20 KJV
[20] which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places
It is called resurrection power because it can bring what is dead to life. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
📍To experience the power of His resurrection, your eyes must open.
John 5:30
[30] I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Prayer: Open my eyes, Lord.
